I enjoyed my time with the guest house. My first Worldpackers experience was great thanks to Vasileios and Melissa. The work was pretty straightforward and there was plenty of free time to explore. Milos is absolutely beautiful and I would definitely recommend.

My stay in Milos was the best experience I could ever have. Vasilis is a great host, he helped me a lot learning new things. Work was not so much and nothing so difficult. Melissa was very good with me too, we spent a lot of time together going around and visiting the best spots of Milos. The house that I stayed was clean, fresh painted having all that I needed, wifi, hot water, TV, Netflix, washing machine etc. Milos is a very beautiful island. Thanks Vasilis and Melissa for those nice days that I was a member of your team, I promise I will be back soon. I loved everything there!

Minha estadia em Milos foi mais curta do que o esperado. Foi minha primeira experiência com a worldpackers e infelizmente não foi tão boa. Não acho que os benefícios compensem as situações de estresse desse trabalho. A comunicação era difícil e o trabalho em alguns dias vai muito mais além do que o que é dito na plataforma. O anfitrião pode ser muito difícil de lidar, grita, e é rude. Todo o trabalho é feito pelos viajantes, já que eles não tem funcionários. Para mim não faz sentido exigir um trabalho profissional de viajantes que estão lá pra serem uma ajuda extra.

My Loren, you were just incapable to work or to help us even though before coming you pormised that you know. Maybe our worst experience in work during the 3 years that we use worldpacking. And apart of that, except of brazilian, you couldnt speak even english, or understand what we were saying to you. How could we be happy with you? Bad choice by our side, that of course didn t went well. It was our error.

I had a very bad experience, left after 4 days because free accommodation is not enough to justify poor treatment. I would not recommend this to anyone. He spoke to me in such a rude and condescending tone. If you are alone and being treated poorly, there's no way you will enjoy one month here. The first day I met him he went on a rant about 2 previous volunteers he kicked out, which should have told me all I needed to know. Of course when I told him I didn't want to be there anymore, he kicked me out onto the side of the road for 6 hours until the first ferry off the island at 1:30 am.

Thanks Sophie that you came but very disappointed by your behavior. I think you must solve your psychological problems before going for wp experiences.

+ : Milos is a beautiful island but nothing worth leaving in an awkward and anxiety inducing atmosphere. - : Vasilis the host should improve the leadership if he want the volunteers to give their « absolute best ». It's human to make mistakes but not for him : he scream, yell, get mad easy. In march He didn't gave me instructions or rules, and tell me it's « logical », using intimidation wanting me to feel stupid. The accommodation was very humid, full of dead and alive cockroach, he didn't clean it before I arrived. I am very worried by the way he treats volunteers. I am traumatized.

Milos is a stunning island! I enjoyed the beach every single day after my shift. There wasn't much work at the guest house since it was still low season, so mainly the job was to help paint the host's house and do some cleaning and ironing. Mind you, Vasilis is great, but he is very detailed and perfectionist so he will want you to do your absolute best. I had a place all to myself which was awesome! The island is very big, so I couldn't go everywhere, but at least I could go to the beaches that were close to the house. Thank you Vasilis for this opportunity!

Milos is a nice Island with lots of magnificent spots, unfortunately my personal experience did not go well. The work is hard for me it should be pros job. I felt disrespected by the attitude of the host, I would usually feel stupid while working. The organisation and instruction should be placed because there was none. The work was above what is in the description (including host's house cleaning and dishes). The tonality of the voice should be revised as well, respect is very important. The WP house was not cleaned before I came, so I did that. Traumatising experience.

It was my first experience as a backpacker and I must say it was the best one ever!! Since I arrived the kindness of Vasilis, Duvrola and Spiro were amazing. Thanks so much!!! The place to work is beautiful as this is a big plus!! Milos is a very nice island where you can relax from the city noises and get connected with nature, local people and amazing food. Everyone was super polite and kind and I will definitely recommend the experience with Vasilis and the family! You all were great 😃👍❤️ thanks again!!

Vassilis is a great and experienced host, knows a lot about Greece/Milos and speaks many languages. The work is fair, basically cleaning and you have a stunning view while doing it. Drousula and Spyros ( his parents) were amazing people, so sweet it felt like living near your grandparents also the best food I had on the island. You have your own house with everything you need in it. It was an amazing experience in a great place with beautiful people. TKS for having me there and showing me how Greece and it's people are special. hopefully I'll be back someday. All the best ! Obrigada xx
