Das Erlebnis

We’re a non profit dog rescue in the beautiful Rif Mountains. We’re actually hosting 120 dogs who need your help, love and care. We need your support with feedings, cleaning, taking pictures and videos for content, socializing our rescued dogs who have been rescued from the streets due to injuries, diseases or abuse. You will get dirty!

Gemeinschaftszimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Reisenden teilst.

Team dorm: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Personen teilst.

Mittagessen: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Mittagessen an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

Kostenlose Wäsche: Du kannst unseren Waschraum frei nutzen.

Kostenlose Wandertouren: Wir nehmen dich mit auf Ausflüge und Wanderungen rund um die Stadt. Kostenlos!

Fahrräder zur Verfügung: Du kannst unsere Fahrräder jederzeit nutzen.

Abholung: Wir holen dich bei deiner Ankunft ab und bringen dich zu unserem Grundstück.

Nutze unsere ausgestattete Küche: Nutze gerne unsere Küche und bereite dein eigenes leckeres Essen zu.

Grundlegender Internetzugang: Internet mit Grundgeschwindigkeit, damit du remote arbeiten kannst

As a small team we’re desperately relying on your helping hand. You and many others are the heart of this project.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

We’re having a shift system - „Morning Shift“ and „Evening Shift“. Our morning shift starts at 7:30AM and our evening shift is starting at 2:30PM

We need help with
-feeding the dogs
-medicating the dogs
-cleaning their kennels and supplies
-bathing them
-hiking the dogs
-socializing them
-spreading love
-if you have some knowledge about construction you can help us to repair fences and dog houses or building new kennels

In your free time you can take a nice hike to the waterfalls of Akchour or visit one of the hemp farms around us. You will get to know the real rural Rif culture. Chefchaouen the magical blue city is only 20km away from us and perfect to take photos. There’s also the possibility to borrow our scooter to drive around the village if you pay the gas you’re using.

Regeln

Make sure you’re reading and understanding the rules!

You have to stay at least for two weeks.

If you don’t come please inform us!

Please ensure that you’re responsible enough to help with living beings. Our dogs have come a long way and they rely 100% on us. Be patient, kind and loving.

Life in the mountains is very minimalistic. So is the accommodation. There is no „European standard“ or luxury and we shower with a bucket and mountain water as all our neighbors do. In winter you have to heat your water up first with the stove. Make sure you are prepared for real mountain life in Morocco!

The helper house is managed autonomously, please communicate with the team if you need anything! We’re cooking vegan once a day. Please keep your environment clean and clean up after yourself!

Please respect that we’re not a business but a non profit rescue. This is not an adventure for someone who’s seeking luxury holidays. You will get dirty, sometimes sad but knowing you help vulnerable dogs that have no one else is rewarding!
