We are a legal NGO located in the city of Iquitos founded in 2018, that collaborates with the community and makes meaningful positive changes for the present generations!

Our mission is to empower kids and teenagers through education in after-school activities by wisely developing their skills and talents. Providing them of a great space to learn and to create beautiful things.

We are looking for great and productive volunteers to help us!

Was Sie anbieten

16 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche

Kunst: Hilfe beim Malen, Graffiti, Bildhauerei oder Zeichnen.

Sozialarbeit: Hilfe bei Freiwilligenarbeit in lokalen Projekten und Gemeinschaften.

Sportunterricht: Unterrichten oder Unterstützen des Hosts, der Gäste oder lokaler Gemeinschaften beim Sport oder körperlichen Aktivitäten.

Sprachunterricht: Unterrichte eine Sprache für den Host, Gäste oder lokale Gemeinschaften.

Zusätzliche Gebühr erforderlich

Betrag: US$ 6 Pro Tag

Gebühr bezahlt für: Vorteile für Reisende und Spende an das Projekt

Programmdetails

Most of the kids come from impoverished communities that are waiting for the chance to study with their hopes and dreams!

One of your main responsibilities will be supporting the children with their homework, especially in math, English, and language skills.

We need your help with different tasks such as:
- Arts and science.
- Sports and yoga.
- Maths lessons.
- English lessons.
- Communication.
- Marketing ideas.
- Photo and Video Production.
- Loving and caring.

We ask for just 16 working hours per week. You can order the schedules to your preference and choose the activities that are best for you.

We require a basic to intermediate level of Spanish to ensure a better experience for you and the team, as they communicate mainly in Spanish.

We are looking forward to receiving your help for continue improving the school for the greatness of the future of the next generations!

Aktivitäten & Schichten

You will have plenty of time to explore and to enjoy the area. There is a lot to do in Iquitos! The city is known as the gateway to the jungle and as the largest city in the world that can only be reached by plane or boat.

You can experience many activities like hiking, kayaking or exploring around with the host family. Enjoying local events and festivals. Going to the downtown mall to watch a movie or to enjoy a meal in a delicious restaurant, and much more.!

The volunteering hours are flexible and can be designed to your preference!

❇️Imfundo Kahle is a registered NGO so this volunteering can be an internship and you will get an official volunteering certificate.

❇️ It is also possible to receive an official letter of recommendation and a review on LinkedIn or any other platform.

•As a bonus, once you arrive in Iquitos, you will receive weekly Spanish lessons with one of our teachers together with the other volunteers.

Regeln

We know that you come with good intentions and a desire to help, which is fantastic. But it is important to remember that this is a different culture with a different code of conduct than yours (This also applies to the family you are staying with).
This is why it is important to be sensitive and communicate with the coordinator and let her know if you have any questions or doubts.

For the safety and respect of all participants and the host family:

*It is not permitted to bring guests or individuals to the volunteer house or organisational facilities unless they are officially part of the NGO.

*It is strictly prohibited to consume or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the volunteer house, during working hours, or at the school.

Any violation of these rules will result in the immediate termination of your volunteering without refund.
