I loved the experience! The family is great and they're doing great job with giving locals opportunity to practice English with foreigners. They took a great care of me and ibu always made sure to feed me well. I could be in nature and enjoy the beautiful views and hiking together was a great thing too! I would definitely recommend this volunteering project and would love to come back in future again.

From the second you arrive you become part of the family. You get a room to yourself and consistently delicious meals (thanks Ibu Nok). If you are concerned about being responsible for teaching people, don't be. The lesson are guided, for the most part by coursework done in books of different levels. Most definitely fulfilling work. Emha and Niha are caring friendly people, that make this experience memorable. The hardest part is saying goodbye.

I had the best experience teaching english with niha, Emha and all the family, The food made by ibu was delicious every day, they are the kindest people with beautiful hearts, I felt like part of the family from the first day, and always felt so included, the pupils here are so polite and intelligent, and it was the best first world packers experience I could have asked for, and truly life changing, and on the weekends we went on days out with the family to see waterfalls and the bamboo forest, I 100% recommend this :)

Niha and Emha and the rest of the family are great, I felt welcomed from the first day on. If you want to experience the local life and culture, this is the right place. Both really care about you well being all the time . Teaching the kids at the private class at home was nice as they are motivated to learn something. I would recommend this place!

I really appreciated my experience with Niha and Emha that are lovely people. I learned a lot about the local culture, the food, the people, the nature. I learned how to get the attention of a lots of students and I felt very welcomed in every places I visited. Such a amazing experience !

Where do I even begin 😭❤️😇 I had the most incredible, wonderful opportunity to volunteer here, for 1Month initially I planned to stay for 1 week, I had such an amazing experience I extended stay for a month in the end ( left because I had too 🤣 visa No words can fully express the profound impact the entire experience had for me and the work they deliver to the children and the whole community. My experience here has left an incredible mark on my heart. The gratitude I feel towards the family and the children is immeasurable. The lessons I've learnt and bonds I formed life-changing.

Emha and Niha are very welcoming, do great to make me feel joyful and have fun around the city and the village. Temanggung, there are many places to visit or just enjoy the beautiful forest and waterfall, which is close or hiking. Ibu is very caring and cooks delicious food. I really love teaching english to the kids, they are so sweet and willing to learn. Niha does a great work on teaching project. I only stayed 8 days but definitely I would have stayed more if it was possible. It feels that there are so much to visit. I came from Jakarta, Rambutan terminal, it took long hours traveling.

The experience was really unique. The host family is open for different cultures and teaching you about theirs. The teaching was fun as well. The project is really cool for the community of the village. The bathroom situation is rather simple I didn't mind, but if you're looking for western bathrooms it might not be the right fit for you:) Overall a great first impression of volunteering for me!

Amazing! This was my first time volunteering but Niha & Emha welcomed me with open armed right from the start - before, during & after my stay with them. I cannot thank them enough for the experiences, lessons & all the fun memories that I've made here. I initially booked for 2 weeks but extended for a month because I loved working alongside Niha & Emha. So inspired by the impact & purpose driven lives they lead to educate & provide the best opportunities for their community in Temanggung! Came here as a volunteer & left with a full heart & family!! So special! Highly recommend 💖
