This is place is awesome and Danielle is great! the farm is very nicely deep in nature and has some incredible views, you can hear birds singing all day and there's also 2 sweeps and cats that are very cute. The hostess Danielle is very patient and nice: she respects the work hours and is very caring, she also has some very nice stories about her many travels so Id recommend listening to them. Overall, I loved my stay, and enjoyed very much volunteering under Danielle, and I hope to go back again.

I learned so much from Danielle over the course of my stay with her. She treated me as family and shared so many stories about her life and travels with me. I also learned so much about how to truly be a sustainable individual. I will cherish this learning experience forever!

El lugar es hermoso, Danielle nos llevó a tours increíbles y explicó la historia del lugar y de su vida, todo muy interesante. Las horas de trabajo y las tareas son adecuadas, y compró todo lo que necesitaba para mi dieta especial (por salud). Tenemos criterios de higiene y limpieza distintos, por lo que si te importa que el lugar sea muy limpio, puedes ayudar a limpiar o si no, podría ser incómodo. Ten en cuenta que si quieres una ducha diaria no siempre es posible (por calefacción solar/ a leña) . Recomiendo hacer una videollamada antes de confirmar, para ver si eres compatible con la host.

The house is in rustic countryside setting(mentioned on WP profile). Hot showers are available but if weather is grey/cold it require to restart the boiler and takes few hours to heat up. This was done during most of Esperanza stay. She did not mention it during her time here, neither did she raise the issue of 'cleaness' while she spent 2weeks with us.I had to adapt my cooking to her unannounced very strict diet. Communication/compromise remains important during the stay if specific issues ID.

Mi experiencia en casa de Danielle fue excelente. Siempre se preocupo porque me sintiera cómoda y que estuviera bien. En mi primer día Danielle se quebró el brazo por lo que mis tareas fueron principalmente ayudarla a ella en cosas de la casa, lo negativo de esto es que al no poder manejar no pude recorrer mucho los alrededores. Eso es algo a tener en cuenta si vienen, el lugar es hermoso, pero para ir al pueblo o cercanías si o si hay que ir en coche. Con su hijo Django no compartí mucho tiempo, pero es igual de amable que ella. Realmente disfrute mucho mi tiempo aquí!

I had a wonderful experience volunteering in France, I helped with gardening and other simple tasks. Danielle was an amazing host, I also had the chance to meet amazing people, learn about local traditions, and enjoy the cultural exchange. It was a short but unforgettable opportunity and I would totally recomend!

The Danielle's way of life is awesome and that place there's something magical. She has history to tell and her house is like museum. She always was willing to drive us to visiting the places and the village and she knows everything about the attractions. And my housemate there, Lourdes Zunino , made my experience much better. I absolutely enjoyed our dinners together and the interesting conversations. We also got to explore some of the history in the area, that was exciting. You will need to be prepared to live close to nature and get your hands dirty. Task varies depending on seasons and needs.

A delightful first Worldpacker experience! Danielle is such a precious person to come across one's life! She is inspiring, caring and a magnificent cook!Her house looks like it's straight out of the Howl's Moving Castle anime movie,so be sure you will have a unique experience living there. Surrounded by the forest,you'll have to complete various tasks,depending on what is the priority at the time,and sometimes it can be physical demanding,but mostly it's about simple tasks. Also, Danielle knows a lot about the historical context of the area and she proved to be an excellent guide! Merci Dlle!!

It really went beyond my expectations in Pechlafière. If you love natural places among the trees and wild animals, if you have green thumbs, then you will live a one off experience there. If you speak at least a little of french language, it will be a plus to connect with the culture of this interesting and ancient territory full of hidden castles. My best regards.

Foi um período intenso e de grande aprendizado. Danielle, Django e Iago são muito responsáveis. Se preocupam sempre com o nosso bem estar. A região é linda. Muita história e natureza exuberante.
