Since we are both a hostel and a bar, we need volunteers who are flexible and open to a variety of different tasks. Some of the things we need help with are reception, housekeeping, creating a nice atmosphere for guests, and helping out at the bar during events. If you have any special skills you would like to share with us, we are happy to hear about them!

Programmdetails

Our goal is to make work joyful and enjoyable. We need volunteers who take their responsibilities seriously, but approach every day with a positive attitude! Understanding the importance of cleanliness in the hostel is very important. Since we will be working with people from all over the world, communication skills are crucial. If you ever have any confusion or concerns, we hope you will be able to communicate them clearly so everything runs smoothly for all of us.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

The shifts will be 6 hours per day. Since there is a wide variety of tasks we may need your help with, the shift hours are very flexible. On some days, you may be needed for housekeeping, which will start in the mornings and finish in the early afternoon. Other days, your help may be needed for parties at the bar, which will end late at night. We will also need someone at reception during the middle of the day to do check-ins. We are happy to help find a schedule that works for both you and us :)

Regeln

Respect guest privacy and avoid entering guest rooms unless it is an emergency or requested by the hostel staff.

Familiarize yourself with the hostel's rules and guidelines, such as curfew times, noise restrictions, and check-in/check-out procedures.

Maintain cleanliness as a volunteer by cleaning bathrooms, making beds, and vacuuming common areas regularly.

Be friendly, welcoming, and respectful to all guests, regardless of their background or nationality.

Good communication is key to ensuring that everything runs smoothly, so don't hesitate to ask.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines provided by the hostel staff, such as wearing protective gear and avoiding certain areas.
