The experience was amazing! I stayed for four weeks with a friend, and we met so many nice people. Candela, the manger, is such a nice and helpful person, and really makes you feel comfortable in the work space. Puerto Viejo is also really nice and the hostel is located perfectly between the town and the Playa Cocles. The hostel is quite small, so it's possible that there are not many guests, but it's still nice to just chill around. The work is also really easy and the working hours are also really flexible. It was a great experience!!

I was at the hostel for 3-4 weeks with a friend of mine. We had such a good time and felt sooo comfortable there. The work was really easy and fair! Candela the manager is super nice and sweet and there for everything we needed! I also liked the location because it was very near the center and only a 15 minute walk to the big Cocles beach! I highly recommend going there to have a great time!

Estar en el hostel ha sido como estar sumergida en una burbuja de naturaleza, alejado del bullicio, pero a la vez con una ubicación increíble en el centro del pueblo. A los pocos días ya lo sentí un hogar. Gracias a Candela que lo hace todo fácil para que te adaptes bien al lugar y siempre está dispuesta a mejorarlo. Conecté mucho con el sitio, los otros voluntarios y huespedes. Gracias por esta experiencia. Sin duda volveré ❤️✨

Cande y Eddi son unos genios, te hacen sentir en tu casa, los horarios se cumplen y las tareas son sencillas, pasamos buenas noches de fogatas y diversión. Una experiencia inmejorable El lugar tiene una energía increíble, si querés conectar con la naturaleza es el lugar indicado.

El hostel está muy bien ubicado, en frente de la playa. Cande y Eddier hacen todo para que nos sentimos en casa. Lo pasé muy bien la verdad. Las tareas son sencillas, pero siempre se puede encontrar algo para hacer y Cande está dispuesta para nuevas ideas y proyecto. Gracias por todo 💛

Our experience at the hostel was great. Working in hostel wasn't hard, Cande-the manager is the best and she helped us a lot and explain everything. She and other nice people were highlight of our stay. The hostel is in good location, close to the see. The volunteers are staying in their own room, but sometimes it can be full and first days we were in common room with hostel guests. Also when you go as a pair you do not work at the same time, but we always get asked if schedule is okay and what days do we want our free time together. We would recomend this❤️

My experience was great.It is a place next to the beach in a heart of Puerto Viejo.The work at hostel wasn't hard at all. At the hostel is kitchen equipment,wich is not the best. Toilets and shower are clean.You can also use washing machine, which is not the greatest,because it made a hole in my shorts. The highlight of my stay was the manager Cande.She was the best manager ever!She was super helpfull with everything! Her and her boyfriend Eddie made our stay amazing!But the hostel isnt perfect, there are many holes in walls,many cocroaches and mosquitos and no net. But I would recommend:)

Muy buena experiencia. Los chicos nos recibieron de la mejor manera. Pudimos compartir momentos de escursiones, fogatas y comidas, unos genios. El lugar rodeado de mucha naturaleza, perezosos, monos y el contante sonido del mar, nos encantó. Las horas de trabajo fueron las acordadas y nos ofrecieron la caseta de voluntarios donde nos sentimos súper cómodos con la compañía de Dimosh y Cahui 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🌊🌴✨ gracias!

Nuestra experiencia en the hostel fue increíble! Cande junto a Eddy nos recibieron super bien y nos llevamos una amistad hermosa 🫶Las horas a trabajar son las acordadas y las tareas a realizar son super simples. Compartimos comidas y fogatas con otros voluntarios y huespes. El patio del hostal es literal el mar, eso nos dejó asombrados, la belleza de Puerto Viejo no se compara. Monos, mariposas, iguanas y perezosos hacen compañía a las horas de trabajo. Nos sumergimos en la naturaleza de una manera increíble. Gracias Tom por el espacio, nos llevamos un hermoso recuerdo de the hostel 🩷
