Whoever wants to experience the best time of their life while truly feeling like part of a hostel family, the hostel is the place. From day one, I felt welcomed, trusted, and included, not just as a volunteer, but as part of something special. I'm incredibly grateful for this experience and especially want to thank Juan for making it all possible. The people at the hostel, both guests and staff, are truly one of a kind. I've never laughed so much, connected so deeply, or had so much fun in such a short time. It honestly was the best time of my life, and I'll carry these memories with me forever.❤️

Estar en el hostel fue una experiencia simplemente increíble Un mes y 2 semanas se me quedó cortísimo, me habría quedado mucho más... Es un lugar lleno de energía, donde cada día pasa algo distinto. Conocí gente de todas partes del mundo, practiqué portugués e ingles, disfruté de muchísimas fiestas y la playa está literalmente al lado El staff es lo máximo, la ubicación no puede ser mejor y el ambiente te hace sentir como en casa desde el primer día. No quería irme, de verdad fue una de las experiencias más bonitas que he vivido viajando, volvería mil veces más, los quiero <3

O hostel é sensacional!!! Galera do staff é maravilhosa, recebem você muito bem e ajudam no que for preciso. Do bar, da recep, as divas da limpeza, do Administrativo, todos são legais. Um salve especial para Dona Carla, que amor de pessoa! Os meus queridos Lucas, Tigrinho, Isa e Gui, fizeram meus dias os mais divertidos. Amo! O voluntariado em si é incrível; você está sempre com a galera nos passeios, nas praias e ainda pode curtir várias festas de graça. Juan, o nosso chefinho, é um cara massa demais! Gentil, atencioso, compreensível e divertido. Meus dias no hostel foram insamente incríveis.

I had the best time volunteering at the hostel! The “shifts” were not really like work, just having fun with the other volunteers and guests! The location can't be beat, 2min walk from the best beach in Rio! The hostel vibe is so fun and social and there's lots of free time to relax and explore. Juan the experience coordinator who is in charge of all the volunteers is the best he is so kind and accommodating :) The only downside is the condition of the volunteer dorms which has been brought to management's attention so hopefully that will be fixed soon. Thanks for the amazing experience!

I had an amazing experience here at the hostel, all the staff were so kind and open to feedback. It was super social and easy to meet people from around the world. The only problem was the air conditioning in the room as it made a few of us sick but they have since cleaned it so hopefully wont be an issue! Would definitely recommend for solo travelers 🩷🩷

I had an incredible time at the hostel. Every single member of staff is an absolute delight! The location is super and the benefits of being a volunteer are fantastic. The volunteer dorm was disappointing but I believe they are renovating it. The thing I really appreciated, was the management always responded well to constructive feedback and really want to ensure that you have a positive experience. I will miss the team and would definitely return to the hostel

Una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida. Estuve al rededor de año nuevo, trabajando de mesera en el bar de 6-12pm y fue un trabajo real, bastante movido y agotador, pero considerando lo que te dan a cambio es bastante justo y a mí me encantó porque pude mejorar mi portugués y conocer gente genial cada noche. El personal del hostel son los más cool del mundo, siempre amables y dispuestos a ayudar, súper divertidos dentro y fuera del laburo, se convirtieron en mis amigos y los aprecio mucho 🫶 El cuarto es lo único mal porque tiene un problema de filtración de agua y está todo el día mojado

Me encantó la ubicación y el acceso a sillas y sombrillas gratuitas. El ambiente es bueno, y el equipo intenta organizar los horarios. Además, la nueva organización con más actividades Xperience es un acierto, porque 30 horas en el bar o el turno de noche son demasiada carga. Lo más difícil fue el alojamiento. El cuarto de voluntarios está en mal estado: pequeño para ocho personas, con un baño sucio y sin ventilación. La limpieza es insuficiente y el óxido en las camas manchó mi ropa y una bolsa. Mejorar estas condiciones haría la experiencia mucho más positiva.
