Amazing first experience at urban the hostel. You really feel like its one big hostel. Got to meet wonderful people and interact a lot with guests. There's always something to do and you never feel bored.

The hostel it's the craziest hostel I've been, everyday something different and fun happens, there's party all the time, you always make new friends, get to know people, all the volunteers and staff are truly amazing. Thjis the manager is a really cool dude. However, you work more than the 25 hours they announce, there's extra tasks (food shopping, staff dorm cleaning, mandatory meetings everyday) that are not contemplated in the 25 hours work week, besides that is a life-changing experience that I recommend 100%

This might be one of the most the hostel in Europe, but if you spend time here you won't regret it. You are partnered with a large team that will become your close friends and even family. I recommend this for anyone who loves to party, have fun, and meet others.

Nathan was our man on reception. He was one of our best tour guides throughout the hostel. Was always wanting to bring a super fun and down to earth attitude to everything he did, he wasn‘t just here for the party, he really became part of the family during his stay. It was a super sad day the day he left.

I loved volunteering at the elephant hostels. it is definitely a one of a kind experience that will break you out of your shell. My favorite part of the experience was the relationships that were created :)

The life at the hostel was amazing, meeting traveler, crazy partys, a lot of good memories and a lot of memories lost during the crazy nights in Bratislava. From house partys, lake bonfire to Pub-crawls. if you want to live a intense life, getting fucked up with the Wilds, that's definitely the place!

Even though this is my first experience working at a hostel, I find it hard to believe you'll find anything close to it. This is truly a the hostel niche experience if I could ever have one. I am back home, but yet my mind still thinks about coming back to this hostel. However, there are definitely a few details left off in the work commitment like daily meetings and more passive daily roles that switch everyday, so just keep that in mind.
