I had a wonderful experience volunteering at the hostel. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and felt supported from the very beginning. I made amazing friends and shared moments I will never forget. The tasks were simple and easy to manage, and I always felt treated with kindness and respect. Working at the hostel was made all the more special due to the welcoming and fun staff! I feel very drawn to come back to the hostel and visit everyone. Beyond training me when I started, they were extremely open to getting to know me, sharing tips about the hostel, and inviting me to do things with them outside of normal shift hours. I felt super comfortable once I got the hang of everything. The 6 weeks flew by! Unbeatable location, perks of free breakfast + tea, great management, great volunteers alongside me, clear processes + clean hostel. Highly recommend if early mornings are ok for you!

Thank you! And Laurel was an exceptional volunteer - both sociable and organised. She was always punctual and went above and beyond by supporting us during breakfast, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Laura also took the initiative to help onboard new team members, showing great teamwork skills. Additionally, she used her Spanish fluency to assist and offer advice to guests, which was a huge asset. Overall, we highly recommend Laura for her dedication to all the hosts!

Just spent a month volunteering in the hostel, and it honestly felt like home. Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the first day, and the atmosphere was always warm and friendly. The tasks were easy and well explained, and there was always time to relax and discover new places. The location was perfect, close to everything and made it easy to explore the city and enjoy it The room was comfortable, and I loved the kitchen and breakfast area, sharing morning coffee and small talks made each day brighter. It was a lovely month that I'll always remember, and I'd love to come back one day 🍀💛💚

Volunteering at the the hostel was a really enjoyable and rewarding experience. My main tasks were helping prepare breakfast and assisting with simple daily duties, which were easy to manage and gave me a sense of contribution. The staff and fellow volunteers were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. I really appreciated the supportive atmosphere, the free breakfast, and even the chance to grab a £3 pizza while working. Overall, it was a fun, relaxed, and memorable experience, and I would highly recommend volunteering at this hostel to anyone looking to meet new people.

I really enjoyed my stay at the place! The location is super the hostel, and the team is so nice. The tasks are simple, and everything runs smoothly. The only downside is the team dorm, which doesn't have a window, and sharing it with four others can feel a bit tough if you're there for a while. Overall, it was a really good experience, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The experience was good, the people are kind and very flexible. The work is not difficult, although the 7 a.m. routine can be somewhat tiring for those who are not early risers. The location is the hostel and quiet, and the schedules and tasks mentioned are properly respected. I recommend this volunteering and I would like to express my sincere appreciation to each member of the team.

I stayed at the hostel for a month and highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the hostel, as the location is excellent. The working hours are clearly defined you work 5 hours a day, 5 times a week with a 15min break for breakfast. Sian, Louise, Matthew, Cássio, and most of the other staff members are very kind and communicative. Unfortunately, I wasn't very lucky, as the lift was out of order for almost three weeks, and the volunteers' room is on the fifth floor, so I didn't get to enjoy my time there as much as I'd hoped. I hope to return someday!
