Teach English to children in a lovely community in Laos!

Although this project is intended to help the local community, the execution is not there. The leadership of this project is very poor, where it seems like the goal is gaining money from volunteers. The leadership is exploiting local staff with unfair wages and ridiculous working hours. The facilities for staff and volunteers are AWFUL, the hygiene is non existent. Almost every single volunteer was sick when I was there. I got very sick there too and left early. I really wish this project was lead differently, and actually supported the local community. Very disappointed

While you stayed with us, you did not seem to have any questions; if you had some doubt, WE HAVE ACCOUNTING MANAGEMENT AND ALL SYSTEM, please ask! You are always welcome to ask about our management instead of thinking everything on your own, and we are not really sure what you expect from volunteering in local areas, as our resources are totally different from your expectations.

2 inital weeks thst turned into 3, maybe I'd even extended to 4 if there would be not more of Laos to explore! :D From the first minute the team is so welcoming and you instantly feel home at this cozy place surrounded by such a beautiful nature! Teaching the kids was super easy and they were really eager to learn, especially the second class made big steps during my stay which made it even more fun :) The thing about this volunteering is that it doesnt end with the teaching, it's more like an complete camp, you spend almost your whole day with other volunteers, play, talk... so fun! :))

I had such a great time at Sae the organization. I stayed for two weeks but I would have stayed more! Steven, the volunteer coord., was very welcoming and he always took care of us and made sure we were ok. The accomodation was simple but comfortable. The working hours were as described and we had a lot of free time. For me, it was a perfect combination of English teaching and manual work. the organization team was amazing. Getting to know them was a real opportunity to learn all about the culture, food,... Just what I was looking for! And also the most amazing landscape! I really recommend SaeLao to everyone!

A truly beautiful and enriching experience. All the classes follow a curriculum and each lesson is structured which makes it easy if you've never taught before. The Laos and volunteering team is incredible, always there to answer your questions and help you. I am so thankful for everyone at the project for their kindness, passion and involvement ! I completely recommend this volunteering!

I spent 3 weeks volunteering with the project and absolutely loved it! It has been the highest goodbye so far of my trip to say goodbye to the wonderful Laos team that work there and the children in the schools. A really beautiful experience that will stick with me forever. I do wish that volunteers were able to have a little more say on what is working or not working in the curriculum though, especially if we have a career in working with children. However, everyone tries super hard and you feel part of the team instantly! Thankyou Sae the organization!

This was truly a very special experience! I really enjoyed the teamwork and the atmosphere among the volunteers and Team the organization! Teaching is something truly unique — very rewarding work. You connect with locals and nature, exactly what I was looking for. It's not only about contributing to the community, but also about personal growth. It makes you reflect and appreciate things more quickly. All in all, I would recommend this to everyone! And not to forget, the project dog Panda is an absolute sweetheart.

I completely loved my experience at Sae the organization! The local team and volunteers were super friendly and it felt my second home after two weeks. I really recommend it if you like being surrounded by nature, kids and animals. Very chill and busy days if that makes sense hahaha. I would just improve the curriculum that we have to follow to make our time and effort more worth it for the students. Thank you for everything!

My experience at the organization were unforgettable. the organization team : Tue, Pa, Polee, OneSailee and everyone else, truly made this experience extraordinary with their kindness, energy and unbelievable support. The atmosphere with the volunteers was amazing, and teaching the children was meaningful. I'm grateful for everything and hope to come back one day.

One of the most unforgettable chapters of my life was the two weeks I spent volunteering here. Every afternoon, I taught the local children, and even though we didn't share the same language, I also became friends with volunteers from all over the world. Together with the Laos team, we shared stories, laughter, and moments that I know I'll carry with me for a long time. I got to try local food and explore the beautiful mountains and nature around the village. I'm sure I will come back one day to visit everyone again.

Amzing 3 weeks of volunteer work. There were moments that I forgot I was volunteering since it was that much fun. The Lao Team is amazing and super helpfull. The food is incredible. Teaching english to children is so rewarding and fulfilling. Cannot recommend enough this place!! Thank you
