If you are considering volunteering at the hostel, do it! It was an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone.The hostel has such a welcoming atmosphere and the staff made it feel like a home away from home from the first day. Working behind the bar is so fun, you get to connect with people around the world and help create the social atmosphere the hostel is known for. The balance between working and free time is great, especially because the environment is so high-energy and social that it rarely even feels like a job. The hostel Hostal was a fun and amazing expérience that I higly recommand. I want to thank the whole teams especially Alonso, Charlie, Raquel, Estuardo, Erik and Alex for their warm welcoming. The job is really easy and allows to meet people from all over the world. The 2 days off give you the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, including the Acatenango volcano. A good place to having fun and feel like home

Volunteering at the hostel was such an amazing and fun experience! From the very first day, the staff and other volunteers made it feel like a true home away from home! The work never felt like a job, it was social, enjoyable and I met so many incredible people from all over the world! Learning bartending was an extra highlight and something I really enjoyed. On working days, you get one free meal and all of them were genuinely delicious! On your 2 days off you can go volcanohiking, which is highly recommended or explore beautiful Antigua! Overall, it was a unique and unforgettable experience!

Volunteering in the hostel is an amazing experience. All the people there make you feel like home! Charlie,Alonso,Raquel,estuardo and Eric really make this experience worthwhile! The job doesn't feel like a job, you meet a lot of travellers and you practise your Spanish. Overall recommend! A home away from home! ❤️

A very beautiful and well organized hostel to live in while we were exploring Antigua. Working for a few hours was not a big deal because the people working there, the provided meals, drinks and activities made everything worthy. Especially the staff of the hostel where ordinary yet unique people and it was my pleasure to be around them. The 5 hour work might some time be strange to arrange some activities, but the 2 days off kept the balance. In the near or far future I would love to go back as a guest or a volunteer.

I had such a fun and crazy 3 weeks at the hostel and felt like family by the end, Alonso and all of the staff were so welcoming and i always felt like part of the team from the start. Very social role and youre always involved so i met so many interesting people from all over the world. You get a free meal every shift and there are plenty of showers and toilets. The shifts are good hours so theres plenty of time to explore Antigua and do Acetenango or the bar crawls on your days off.

The hostel was one of the best experiences I've had. Everyone who works there was so friendly and welcoming. From the first day I felt included and part of the team. It's super fun and you get to meet people from all over the world as well as locals. It's very social and there's always something going on. I'd recommend anyone to volunteer here if they want to make friends and experience the nightlife of Antigua! I'm going to miss being here and I'm so thankful to alonso and all the other bartenders who made me feel at home!

The hostel is the most social hostel in the city, a lot of fun and drinks. Also in a perfect position right in the middle of Antigua, so is easy to walk around and discover the place. All the staff is fucking friendly, such a vibe.
