Coming back for the second time and staying longer than expected, because without a doubt this place is my second home. It's where I feel surrounded by good people, where I feel safe, welcomed, and truly happy. Jack and Billie make the feeling of home and family belong to this place. I deeply love how balanced and connected they are, and how beautifully they bring together volunteers who don't just work side by side, but become real friends. This is a place my heart will always return to. Missing everyone already, and I'll be back very soon 💖

This was my first volunteering experience and I'm really glad I chose RMB. I felt comfortable from the very first day I arrived. Billie and Jack are amazing, always kind and really supportive! The work hours are very fair and well organised, which leaves you plenty of time to explore the city and the surroundings. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone!

I had such an amazing time volunteering here!!!! Jack and Billie are THE best and make the whole place feel super welcoming and so fun. Everyone's extremely friendly and you meet someone new literally every day so if you're looking to make friends look no further!🙂‍↕️ The work is superr chill, usually just 2 hours(sometimes 4) a day with two days off a week. Free breakfast and a bed in the best location in the city for that? Insanely good deal. I've got so many memories and funny stories I'm taking with me. Such a fun, unforgettable experience. Already miss it! Thank you RMB crew!!!!!🫡💗🫶

RMB was the best first Worldpackers experience I could have asked for! Jack and Billie are amazing managers! And the working hours are super fair, with plenty of time off to explore the city. I spent 6 weeks there and met amazing volunteers that quickly became friends! I'd love to come back one day!! <3

I had a great time volunteering at RMB for the month. Jack and Billie are great managers- very accommodating and the work hours were fair and uncomplicated. I met such amazing people here ! The volunteers chosen for RMB are so lovely and friendly! Had loads of time to explore the city and the hostel is in a fantastic location to do so. Thank you RMB 💓💓

RMB was my first worldpackers experience, as well as my first time volunteering in a hostel. I had soooooo much fun during my time in Edinburgh with the other volunteers and the managers, everyone was so nice. We had pub crawls, movie nights, potlucks, and seasonal activities like pumpkin carving. Jack was great at making weekly schedules that fit everyone's needs. And Billie always had an open ear for everyone and was very helpful with all kinds of questions. I loved my time at RMB and I'll never forget the friends I made. I hope to come back sometime! :)

My month at rmb was a dream. Had literally the best time. The hours and work are sooooo fair and laidback and you have a crazy amount of time off. Billie and Jack are super accommodating and the other volunteers were amazingggggg. Loved it.

Volunteering at RMB was a very positive experience for me. I appreciated the fair working hours, easy tasks, and cozy environment.
