El trabajo es justo, se respetan las 5 horas y sin problema se ajusta para que no trabajes con tanto sol La comida es deliciosa y siempre hay demasiada. Es fácil trasladarte y conocer otros lugares de Italia en los fines de semana, ellos siempre estarán dispuestos a recogerte y llevarte a la estación de tren

I loved my experience at Lorenzo's farm! Lorenzo and his family were amazing hosts, and were very welcoming and accommodating. The food was delicious and the environment was stunning. It is a farming lifestyle though, which might not be for everyone. For example, the hot water tank relies on solar energy so there might not be hot water on cloudy days.

Staying with Lorenzo was an invaluable experience. I stayed with him during the harvest. I learned more about the winery business, how a winery works and Italian culture. There were 14 of us, I lived in a room with 4 other girls. Unfortunately, during my entire visit, we didn't have hot water (despite the sunny days). We were divided into morning and afternoon shifts, but sometimes due to weather conditions, it wasn't easy to know when you would work and have the day off. I am grateful to Lorenzo and his family for allowing me to have this experience.

I enjoyed my time at Lorenzo's place! Working hours are respected and the work is quite fun. His father Peter is really the nicest, most interesting guy! He will give you the best lessons about history, pasta, the winery,.. & cook the most delicious Italian food. Thank you!

Para ser nuestra primera experiencia en Worldpacker no fue de lo mejor pero tubo cosas buenas. Conocimos voluntarios muy buena onda. Con respecto a los anfitriones son buenas personas, pero con nosotras hubo momentos incómodos y tensos no sabemos si fue por una diferencia cultural o falta de comunicaión. Igualmente le estamos agradecidas por la experiencia .

Barbi y Carolina son muy buenas, nos ayudaron mucho tanto en casa como en la viña, muy trabajadoras, serias pero también divertidas y alegres. nos reímos en la mesa y pasamos muy buenos momentos todos juntos. hablan muy poco inglés, y mi español es un poco pobre. Barbi y Carolina son muy tranquilas y no hablan italiano y no están acostumbradas al tono alto 📣 y la gesticulación italiana 🤌 cuando hablamos entre mi familia 😂. esto les ha creado un "momento incómodo", pero en una familia italiana es normal. viajan con dos maletas de 40kg, nunca habia visto maletas tan grandes, esto crea algunos problemas para moverse, no son muy independientes, creo que porque es su primer viaje. Les deseo un buen viaje y buenas ondas. Espero volver a verte tal vez en Argentina. un abrazo y suerte en tu viaje.

My stay at Lorenzo's the winery was really nice. I practiced a lot of Italian and eat really good Italian food. The work was somesimes hard but being surrounded by nature made it all worth it! It's the perfect place if you want to get out of a busy life style!! Grazie di tutto Lorenzo, Peter and Laura!

Elisa was really good girl che help us a lot in the farm and everything we need . She is a excellent Cocker and make luxury good crostata! She really socially and good conversation. We can not ask better help in that period. Good luck for you hostel experience in Milano and tks for everything 😊

An incredible experience !! I learned about vineyards, the winery, the winery and teamwork. Lorenzo and his family are wonderful people who include you as one of them. They totally helped me get into the Italian culture and language. The best part is the food is just delicious!!!. I'll never forget the pastas. The work in the vineyard is very calm. I loved the atmosphere with the family and the volunteers. I will always carry them in my heart. I have nothing more to say that thank you for such a beautiful opportunity!

Had a fantastic time at the Gavi the winery! Lorenzo and his parents Laura and Peter are lovely, interesting people that will welcome you into their home like one of their own. The food was fantastic and plentiful, typical Italian dishes which gives a great insight into the local cuisine. The work was varied and challenging but not overwhelming, the work hours were respected and the hosts were very supportive and passionate about what they do, which is a lovely environment to work in. I also made lasting friends with the other volunteers. It was an experience I'll never forget!

Molly she is super nice girls really independent, hard worker with always a smile. She do everything in the best way with the maximum effort so all my family love her. She Speak really good Italian , she is a little bit shy but After a couple days she
get really funny, happy conversation. We chat a lot and tks for all your help😉 really appreciate. You was a "vento di speranza" after the other people hosted..... I would say it was a interesting experience the family was inviting, the task are as said in the profile, work not heavy but still it requires energy. Lots of food will be provide. Lunch and dinner breakfast make your own with fresh eggs from the chicken they have. Good rooms. All I'm saying if your want to volunteer here come with a open mind to the life in the country side/environmental friendly life. Also In the weekends are highly encouraged to travel. Lorenzo is a good host a little rough around the edges but awesome.

The Italian winery definitely had its down sides, including difficult work, uncomfortable living space, and was quite cold, but this is all made up for because the family will treat you like one of there own, the food is amazing, and the other volunteers are a blast. I highly recommend it here.
