Staying at the guest house has been a true pleasure 🩵 The family and the staff are very friendly and kind, always available to help. I had plenty of free time to explore around, the fort and the villages. The tasks are very simple, just need to help where it's needed. Three meals were provided upon request and the food is really delicious 🤤 I would definitely recommend staying here 💕

Mr. Devil and his sons run this beautiful place with excellent teamwork. Volunteers have the option to stay either with the family or in the hostel. Working hours are flexible and depend on the daily activities, so you can discuss a schedule that works best for both parties. I was there during Diwali, which gave me the chance to help at the front desk and in the restaurant. The local people were always curious about me and my travels, and through this volunteer experience, I gained a deeper understanding of the local lifestyle and culture. I had an amazing experience! I stayed here for 3 weeks and i have had the best time. Devi, his family and the staff are all beautiful people and i really felt like i was a part of the family. This was my first worldpackers experience and im so happy that I choose this beautiful place! They all showed me so much of the Indian-Rajasthan culture. There was not a lot of work to the because it was offseason, but what i did like posting on social media or reviews replying, was always taken into account with my plans. I would truly recommend this place!

O senhor Devi e toda a equipe do the guest house Palacr foram muito legais comigo e pude aprender muito sobre a cultura local e como viver no deserto de Thar, Jaisalmer é uma cidade muito interessante pois fez parte da rota da seda. O trabalho é bem tranquilo e te dão liberdade para que faça seus horarios e trabalhe com o que mais goste, a localização é espetacular muito próxima do forte e do rooftop pode vê-lo e aproveitar o maravilhoso pôr do sol. O hotel é lindo e toda a cidade tem uma arquitetura fantástica, realmente recomendo para quem esteja querendo voluntariar em Jaisalmer!

Devilal and his family were incredibly welcoming! Since it was low season, they didn't have much work for me to do, but they still gave me a clean private room and delicious homecooked meal! Jaisalmer is a lovely local village and the rooftop of the hotel is a lovely place to enjoy the view. I felt so safe a solo female traveler since they took great care of me (Devilal even organized my bus from Mumbai to Jaisalmer and kept me updated the whole time). I'm so so grateful for my experience and definitely recommend!! Thank you so much 🫶🫶🫶🫶

Jaisalmer'deki gönüllülük deneyimim beklentilerimin çok ötesindeydi. Devilal beni ilk günden itibaren büyük bir misafirperverlikle karşıladı. Hem konaklama hem de gönüllülük süreci çok düzenliydi ama aynı zamanda özgür hissettiğim, şehri ve kültürü keşfedebildiğim bir alan da vardı. Yerel yemekler, altın şehirdeki gün batımları ve kurulan dostluklar unutulmazdı. Kendimi burada gerçekten ait hissettim. Her şey için sonsuz teşekkür ederim. Yolu buraya düşen herkese tavsiye ederim!

This is absolutely a good place for volunteering. The city is beaytiful, the staff of the hotel is very welcoming, funny and helpful. I felt as part of the team from day 1. The tasks are clear and easy. We spent great evenings on the rooftop which has a mesmerising view of the fort that is a few minutes walk away. Thank you for taking me in the team, I recommend this place for anyone who eants to spend a great time in India. 🔥🥰

My time at the guest house was my first time doing worldpacker. I had the most amazing week volunteering with Devilal. I had the opportunity to meet his sons and family, to try local foods and experience an overnight safari in the desert. It is the start of low season so there wasn't much work to do but meant I had more time to spend with Devilal learning about Rajasthani culture and the history of Jaisalmer. He is so kind and friendly and takes time to get to know you which I really loved. I will cherish my time spent here, I can't recommend Devilal enough!

We've had an amazing week at the guest house. Since it was my first Worldpackers experience I didn't expect anything, but it's safe to say that I was positively surprised! Everything was simply great from the staff, to the workload or the food! I would 100% recommend:)
