Das Erlebnis

We have been working the last year on maintaining the house and property, starting practices on soil improvement, mushroom production, and some food garden beds among other things.
I'm interested on having an exchange with people who can work on their own at times and in a calm rhythm of life.
The land is in a small town outside of Mexico's first national park! If you like hiking, climbing / bouldering, bouldering, this is the place!

Programmdetails

We are expecting to start some construction in the next few months, including an outdoor toilet to be able to host campers and have workshops in the summer. Also, develop a trail/climbing experience to offer to our guests (we host people in one room of the house on bnb).

I'm currently working with only one/two volunteers, and the help that I need is mainly in daily tasks like:
-taking care of the animals (dogs and chickens)
-working in the garden, the compost piles, and mushroom growing.
-help with cooking and keeping the house.
-recive and atend guests if needed

Aktivitäten & Schichten

We work at the morning, from breakfast until meal. The idea is to cook and eat together during work days. These days I'll buy food, any ideas for meals are welcome. On the days off, each one is responsible for their food unless we agree otherwise here.

Regeln

This town has a limited water supply so I ask the volunteers to take care of this resource as much as possible. Make use of the dry toilet (it is important that they are aware of whether they will be comfortable using this system) and avoiding daily showers.
I "try" to wake up and sleep with the sun for hours, so I just ask for respect for the sleeping time of each one.
