I had a wonderful two weeks at the hostel. Working together with travelers from all over the world was a truly valuable experience for me. Everyone was so kind, and I felt genuinely happy. The location is also perfect, close to the market and the town center. Once again, I'd like to express my gratitude to Wilo for welcoming me. It was truly the best hostel!

We really enjoyed our stay! Willo was very friendly, flexible and gave good advice. We would just have appreciated a little more visibility and equipment. Also, since there were two of us we were able to keep each other company, but if you come alone out of season, it is possible that there will be no tourists or volunteers... Also note that as a couple we were able to have our days off together but not our shifts because it is a small team so the shifts are mostly done alone. But apart from that it was great and very pleasant to stay at the Hostal and discover Valladolid and around! :)

This was my first time volunteering and traveling solo, and it was an amazing experience! Everyone was so friendly and we really immersed ourselves in the local culture! I loved Valladolid, I love the hostel, the team, and Willo! A huge thanks to Willo, a sunny and funny guy (and good buritos cooker!). I'll definitely be back! 💃

This is a perfect place where you'll feel looked after from the moment you arrive. Jorge will make you laugh, cook you delicious food and let you take over the music when jazz funk becomes too much…Willo is very friendly and a true expert on Valladolid - he is always ready with suggestions and tips for you! If you want to practice Spanish, this is definitely the right place. I loved having responsibility and Willo is super flexible with any ideas for the hostel. the hostel is relaxing, cosy and welcoming; it was also great to get know regulars and friends who are always coming and going.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy tranqui. No había muchas huéspedes y por eso no había mucha que hacer. Pero fui muy bien recibido por Willo quien me respetó y me dejó a hacer lo que quería por la mayoría. Lo recomiendo esa experiencia para parejas, personas que trabajar en línea, o aquellos que quieren un poquito de paz en un pueblo lindo.

I loved the hostel - I felt at home here and met wonderful people including travelers and other volunteers. The work can be easy or hard at times. Wilo is a great manager and I really appreciate him for being understanding when I changed my plans. Valladolid is a beautiful, great place to visit - I experienced lots of great things including cenotes, Mayan ruins, local art, and trying local food (tacos, paletas, tons of fruit, etc) - it's a great place to learn about the local culture, centrally located and also a super safe area. I'm grateful for this experience and I would do it again.

I really enjoyed spending time here. Thanks again to Willo for its unconditional welcome. It was a pleasure to share my days with other volunteers and travellers. Valladolid is a really peaceful city where you feel at home. I thoroughly recommend the experience.

Absolument génial! Nous avons passé un mois dans cet Hostel et c'était une expérience incroyable! Wilo est adorable, accueillant, de bons conseils et arrangeant! Il nous a fait sentir tout de suite comme à la maison! Le travail est très simple et les horaires sont respectées et flexibles. Ça a été dur de dire au revoir à Wilo et cet hostel, je recommande cette expérience à tous le monde!

Agradezco que las bicicletas fueran libres para voluntarias. Hice amigas muy buenas y lindos recuerdos en Valladolid y tatué muchas personas del hostal ✨ El hostal es sencillo; no hay agua caliente, se va la luz y hubo un incidente en las camas que se resolvió. Como mexicana me costó pero practique mi inglés. Pero no pude comunicarme bien con el dueño, que casi siempre estaba ocupado o se iba. El turno de la mañana es el más pesado; dividir tareas ayudaría. El día que me tocaban comisiones subieron el precio de la cama y no las recibí. Aun así, agradezco la experiencia yvolveré como huésped
