I had a great time at the guest house! It really is a big family there and everyone immediately welcomed me. It was a great way to experience Faro while getting to explore the surrounding areas. The work was as described and allowed for a lot of time to enjoy Faro. Thank you Pedro and Sonja for the amazing stay :)

Faro é uma pequena cidade antiga muito linda, com praias e ilhas por perto de fácil acesso e bom custo. No voluntário pude me conectar com muitas pessoas diferentes de vários países e fiz amizades incríveis. As tarefas do voluntário são simples e o horário de acordo com o combinado. Sonja e Pedro são muito atenciosos, compreensivos e estarão sempre ouvintes para te ajudar. Agradeço a experiência!!!

I spent a month volunteering at The Central and I can say that the staff are amazing people, super flexible and easy going. I helped to arrange some rooms, check ins and also preparing lunch for the team. Thank you Nuno and Pedro. Hope to see you soon.

Volunteering in Faro was my first worlpackers experience. And I must say I had some amazing weeks here. You always have shifts around 10am-14am depending on how many people there are to work and some days can get heavier. But you always know what to do and things about work were communicated immediately. You are having lunch at another hostel which was really good due to other volunteers from other hostels that cooked for us :)) By not only getting to know your roommates but also volunteers from other hostels you meet many new people which is amazing!
