This was my first time doing volunteer work woth worldpackers and I will definitely do it again. I got really lucky to be working at this hostel. Initially I wanted to stay for 2 weeks, but I extended to 4, because I liked it so much. Roberto is a very nice and chill guy who looks that working hours don't exceed the agreed amount and is flexible when you want to do activities or tours. The hostel itself is great, super nice atmosphere, nice facilities (rooftop, pool table, movie room, well equiped kitchen) that make you feel at home very quickly. I definitely recommend this place!

I left early, along with another volunteer, through the WP Safeguard program. The environment felt tense and was different from what I expected in a cultural exchange. The host's communication style and close management of tasks made me feel stressed and like I was in a formal job rather than a collaborative environment. Some benefits didn't match what was listed, and I was asked to work extra hours and stay longer than agreed. For these reasons, I felt it was best to leave early. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this opportunity.

Um hostel bem localizado em Baños: próximo ao centro, a supermercados, feiras, açougue, terminal, pontos de táxi e muito mais. A equipe da casa ajuda muito além da simpatia. O anfitrião recebe bem e tem instalações cômodas, além de ser muito gente boa.

Disfruté muchísimo mi tiempo en Baños. Roberto es un chico que siempre está tratando de que te sientas como en casa. Las tareas estuvieron fácil de hacer. Tienes el tiempo suficiente para caminar por todas las montañas que rodean a Baños y hacer las actividades que quieras.

Nuestro experiencia fue muy chévere y definitivamente recomendamos esa experiencia a todos. Fue nuestra primera experiencia trabajando en un hostal y es una buena oportunidad para aprender y practicar hospitalidad (en ingles y en español). Roberto es muy amable, super flexible, y nos gusto mucho trabajar con el. El hostal es muy bien ubicado y todo esta muy cerca: bastante senderos, mercados, restaurantes, todo; también es muy cómodo, con todo que necesitaras, lo mejor hostal en que hemos hospedado! Nos encanta Baños y el hostel, y esperamos volver algún día!

Hermoso hostel. Excelente ubicación. Horarios y responsabilidades claras. El horario es rotativo por lo que te permite realizar actividades en los atractivos de esta linda ciudad. Anfitrión amable y amistoso. Sin dudas volvería

Um bom lugar em baños, trampo ok, boa estrutura, dono gente boa... Café da manhã te dão os ingredientes pra fazer.... Baños é um vilarejo pequeno, rodeado de montanhas e agua termales, apesar disso, tem festas boas aos finais de semana. Muita natureza também. Gostei muito e indico ✌️

Overall a nice experience! Other guests and volunteers were super cool and the place is very good to relax, although you can always go out for adventures in Banos. Roberto is a chill guy and always reachable in case I needed anything and the work hours were flexible to a certain degree. The work isn't hard but it got a little boring after a while, probably because I was there doing the "low" season, so a lot of times there wasn't really a vibe at the hostel. Super recommendable if you wanna have a chill time and explore the area!

Baños es un hermoso lugar, hay mucha naturaleza y mucho por hacer. Los horarios entre voluntarios son rotativos entonces se puede hacer de todo en diferentes momentos del día, paseos excursiones etc. el trabajo es sencillo. Roberto es una persona muy atenta y agradable. El equipo de voluntarios y huéspedes fue muy bueno. Hubo un muy buen ambiente durante mi estadía. Simplemente me encantó la experiencia.

Tive uma ótima experiência no Papachos. Roberto é um ótimo anfitrião e deixa todos muito a vontade, explica as atividades com clareza, é bem flexível e por vezes me mostrou lugares na cidade e ofereceu almoço aos voluntários. O trabalho é tranquilo (e tem a Terê, que é um amor de pessoa e faz a parte mais pesada das atividades do hostel) os horários são respeitados e o hostel é muito bom e bem localizado. Sou grata pela oportunidade e pelos momentos que tive nas duas semanas em que estive em Baños. Gracias Roberto, Terê e toda a equipe de voluntários, foi um prazer conhecer todos vcs :)
