Join our local school in Cambodia and help teach English to motivated kids. No experience is needed and you don’t need to be a native speaker—just bring your enthusiasm! Your support makes a real difference and the children love meeting teachers from around the world. Volunteers contribute $8/day for 3 meals, drinking water, WiFi, and shared dorm accommodation with fans.

Programmdetails

At ECC, a normal day begins with 3–4 hours assisting an English teacher at a local primary school. In the afternoon, you’ll spend about 1 hour teaching village kids at our ECC center. Once more volunteers join, we plan to re-open French, Spanish, and other classes.

During September and October, when public schools are on vacation, we welcome even more children at ECC. At this time, you’ll be teaching around 3 hours of classes daily at the center, giving you plenty of time to connect with the kids and see their progress.

ECC (Education Centre for Community) is just 5.5 km outside Siem Reap and offers free education to 50–100 children aged 5–17 from Po Village and nearby areas. By joining us, you’ll make a real difference, while experiencing life in a Cambodian village and becoming part of our school community.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Volunteers usually help 3–4 hours at a local primary school in the morning and about 1 hour at ECC in the afternoon. During September and October (school vacation), you’ll teach around 3 hours daily at ECC.

In your free time, you can explore the lively city of Siem Reap and visit the famous Angkor temples, or join activities with other volunteers. We’re always open to ideas and happy to plan things together.

• Be on time and let us know if you can’t attend a class.
• Bring enthusiasm, no teaching experience needed!
• $8/day covers meals, water, WiFi, and dorm stay.
• No drugs or alcohol during teaching hours.
• You’re welcome to take photos/videos, just tag us!
• Explore Angkor Wat, Tonlé Sap, floating villages & Siem Reap, we’re happy to help arrange trips.
