My first experience as a volunteer. I'm very thankful with Alessio, Maria and Antonella! Always very kind with everyone. The tasks were very simple and they always respected the schedule. After you do your things you can go and explore the center or another city. It really felt like you were in a family. I'm gonna miss you guys and I hope to return some day (I really mean it). Thank you for letting me be part of you ✨🥺🫶🏻

I had the best time at the hostel! Alessio and Maria are both super nice and funny and the vibe of the hostel in general is great, even during low season. The working tasks were really easy and Alessio or Maria were always ready to give me advices on how I could improve. I only worked in the mornings which let me a lot of free time to explore Lecce and Puglia with the other volunteers. I will definitely miss this place and all the people I've met there because it felt like we all became part of a little family. I would highly recommend volunteering there :)

My time at the hostel was wonderful! Alessio and Maria are welcoming, kind, funny, and hardworking people - they set clear expectations and are very helpful in terms of teaching you the ropes of the job and offering support. I worked the breakfast shift with another volunteer and our work was very fair and low-stress. We almost always had the rest of the day to explore nearby towns and the beautiful city center :) I miss our little hostel family and the other volunteers already! If you are looking to immerse yourself in Apulia, this is the place for you. Grazie millie!

This was a great experience in the beautiful south of Italy! Lecce is a gorgeous small city and there's so much to do and see in the region of Puglia- I definitely need to return! The team of the hostel as well as the other volunteers were all such kind people, I felt very welcomed here :) Also the work hours leave you a lot of time every day to experience the city and go on trips. I would definitely recommend volunteering here :)

Qué lugar mágico Lecce y más cuando la gente del Hostel es tan maravillosa. Tuve la suerte de tener un grupazo con los voluntarios y eso hizo de La Puglia un viaje hermoso. El trabajo en el hostel es sencillo y rápido, permitiéndote poder conocer la ciudad y alrededores. Súper agradecida con María y Alesio, personas increíbles que te abren los brazos como si fueras familia. Gracias gracias gracias♥️ Volveré!!!!!

The hostel was my first volunteer experience and I loved it soo much!! The tasks were easy and fun and the hours as agreed upon. Especially since I was there in the off season we had a lot of free time to explore the city and go on day trips in the area. Alessio and Maria were super nice and welcoming and the other volunteers were amazing too! I had so much fun on my trip and immediately felt at home in the hostel! I would totally recommend this experience and would love to come back some time!!

My month at the hostel was amazing! Alessio and Maria are communicative and friendly. All tasks and expectations were fair and clearly communicated. Being there during the off season was nice because the workload is lighter than in the busy months. The other volunteers were amazing, and we went to many of the nearby cities together. It's a little tricky to get out of Lecce around using public transport (at least during the off season), but definitely doable. Lecce is a beautiful town and there is a lot to explore on your off time. I will miss it!

I loved my time in Lecce!!! The hostel and the other volunteers are wonderful! our room is spacious and clean. The kitchen is nice and had everything I needed to cook. Cica is the hostel dog and really made my days better even if she begs for your bacon. The only thing that was a little hard was the showers being upstairs and small. but you get used to it quickly and build a routine. Other than that Alessio was helpful with anything you needed and the work was very manageable with A LOT of free time. Lecce is the perfect spot to branch off to the rest of Puglia, and i'd love to do it again!!

My experience was super positive. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We learned from the locals and found a lot to do in the city, even in winter. The hostel is very clean, modern and everyone is open to dialogue. I highly recommend it. Thank you Maria and Alessio.
