What an amazing experience in such a beautiful place! Marzena treats all her volunteers with kindness, respect, and care. She is great at keeping her business running smoothly and making her hostel a paradise for travelers and volunteers because she knows investing in keeping the staff happy will reflect in the overall atmosphere of the place. I have nothing but positive things to say about this hostel!! You'll feel at home the moment you walk through the door, this hostel is such a vibe! So much so that guests staying here are constantly extending their stay and the hostel is almost always fully booked! The work here is very reasonable and you'll have loads of time to explore Tatra National Park, it's breath taking! Marzena the hostel owner is very sweet, she even provides dinner two nights a week and cookies almost every day! Marzena is constantly available if you ever need her help and her communication couldn't be better.

My experience in the hostel was invaluable. Surrounded by beautiful nature and mountains. the hostel was truly the place for me as a nature lover and an enthusiastic hiker. And I can absolutely recommend everyone with similar interest. Work was a bit different than the hostel I have done before but it's always good to learn something new and take on new challenges. Marzena was very kind and fair. She is very flexible and easy communicate to when in need. I also met many lovely volunteers and I am glad I came to the hostel and Poland! Also love the cats in the hostel Mao and Mia!

You need to know that the hostel is like being at home. The place is so cozy! Volunteers that want to come, please know that this is a one in a lifetime opportunity. You only need to work 15 hours a week. If you want to work more, you could do so, and the host pays you for those extra hours. Can you believe it? No one else on this platform offers that! I found it really convenient because I did not have zlotys (local currency) with me, so I got them doing those extra hours. Marzena (the host) is kind, patient, flexible, and has a great sense of humor! All in all, an 11 out of 10!

I had an amazing time volunteering at this hostel. I instantly felt welcome and at home. I met so many great people from all around the world and additionally got to learn some new skills. All in all i had a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone :)

I was not sure about starting a volunteering experience some months ago. It's was my first one. Now, after staying one month at the hostel I couldn't be more happy on taking that decision. The place is magical, surrounded by nature and full of trails if you like to hike or enjoy the mountain. The hostel feels very warm, I feel very comfortable with the other volunteers, the guests and Marzena, the owner. The tasks were simple and the pace of work is easy going. GBL was my first experience as a volunteer, and it was the best thing that could happened to me. I'd say is my best experience in life, I never felt the hostel as a work but a home very quickly. I had the chance to meet new friends (guests and volunteers) that will keep with me forever. the hostel, the hostel and Poland are so important to me and they'll stay in my mind and heart forever. I would love to come back soon.

Definitely the best place to go if you're looking for nature, mountains, travelers and a super host. I arrived at the hostel bringing just my willing to try new things. And I got so many good life lessons, different cultures knowledge, better connection with nature and lifelong memories.

I really enjoy my stay in the hostel. For the last 2 months I have worked in this wonderful hostel. I had the best time meeting people from all over the world and from all walks of life. Hope you enjoy your time at this hostel as much as I do. The atmosphere and staff here are second to none and I will miss this and them dearly. Bye for now, but it's definitely not the end. Fue mi primera experiencia como voluntario y fue increíble, la ciudad es súper linda, el hostel igual y el trabajo es súper sencillo y llevadero, tienes un montón de tiempo libre y Marzena siempre se dirige a ti con mucho respeto y empatía. El mejor lugar sin duda.
