The staff were friendly and respectful, schedules were honored, and tasks were easy. The place is clean, well located near the center and seafront, and provides soap and shampoo. However, there's no dedicated volunteer room, it's shared with guests. The washing machine is broken, old & with blades so water must be loaded manually, which ruined my new clothes. I also saw cockroaches and ants. No daytime air-conditioning makes it feel like a sauna, and the night AC causes a harsh temperature drop. Breakfast repeats four times a week.

La experiencia en el hostel fue genial. Cumplieron con todo lo acordado, el trabajo es relajado y se puede interactuar mucho con los huéspedes. Sergio, Fer, y todo el equipo siempre disponibles y dispuestos a ayudar. Es un bonito hostel que volvería a ir tanto de huesped como voluntario.

El voluntariado en Hostal el hostel fue una experiencia muy bonita y enriquecedora. Todo el staff me trató como una más desde el primer momento. Las tareas son sencillas, y están abiertos a que puedas contribuir con tus habilidades y experiencia. El hostal tiene huéspedes nacionales e internacionales, por lo que fueron unas semanas muy sociales, conociendo a gente de todo el mundo. Recomiendo 100% la experiencia de voluntariado en el hostel!

El hostel es una familia. Son super respetuosos, se explican las tareas de manera clara y es muy interesante la variedad de huéspedes con los que se puede convivir. La paz es increíble, sus paisajes son maravillosos y la tranquilidad es lo que uno busca cuando la ciudad abruma tanto Me encanto el hostal, sus instalaciones excelentes y la calidez del staff me dejaron ganas de regresar. Ojalá hacerlo pronto 🫶🏻 Gracias por todo, equipo el hostel ☺️

Ame cada día que pasé en el hostel y en La Paz. Los colaboradores del hotel son personas increíbles, súper amables. Imposible no encariñarse con cada una de las personas que ahí trabajan. I want express my gratitude for the enriching experiences I had during my stay. Interacting with guests and providing them with city tours allowed me to foster meaningful connections. The staff was incredibly supportive and kind. However, there are areas that need improvement: to put more attention when they select volunteers outside the apps,and the consideration given to the accommodation provided for volunteers. The lack of curtains for the volunteer beds was inconvenient, and being asked to leave when the hostel was full was not ideal. The tasks assigned were easy and respect times given.
