Mr Ty was very welcoming and friendly. I also got to play and learn tennis with Mr Ty every other morning. We always have delicious meals together with all the volunteers. Be prepared to work three times a day, (morning, afternoon and evening)as the students come in different timing. Other than having conversations together, we also have the flexibility to plan our lesson/activity to do with the students.

It was the second volunteer experience through this apps for me and I really enjoyed it. Mr. Ty was always so friendly and supportive. I could learn a lot about Vietnam by children and they were super friendly too. In free time, we enjoyed football and gym. I will never forget this experience. I strongly recommend you to join this volunteer!!!!!

The experience has been absolutely enriching, Ty is always taking care of us and satisfying all our needs. He is really a marvellous person. Kids in ths school are very sociable, open mind and so kind every each of them! The local culture has a lot to discover, its city environment as well as a calmer countryside. I would totally repeat the experience!

I want to truly thank teacher Ty and all the students I had the opportunity to spend time with because for me this has been a life changing experience. I'll never forget my time in Hong Ngu! Ty is an amazing person who made me feel at home from day 1. We shared very nice moments teaching, playing football and eating outside. His kindness really had an impact on my experience. I'm glad I had lots of students to speak with, from age 5 to 35.I could have an interesting conversation and a laugh with everyone knowing them better, what they do, what they like to do. I miss you all!I'll come back!

Excellent experience. My first volunteer and it couldn't have been better. Mr. Ty always attentive and concerned about you, you will never be hungry, and if you are vegetarian or vegan, no problem, Mr Ty has already received pro-animal volunteers. If you like soccer, there are matches every day! I came to teach English to the children, but they taught me much more about their culture, their interests and dreams. Thank you very much Mr T for everything, I hope to return in the future.

My experience in Ty's center was absolutely amazing. I really felt like home everyday and learnt a lot about Vietnamese culture. Mr. Ty took us out many days to have dinner, playing football or even karaoke! The kids are super funny and clever, you never get bored talking with them. I'm so greatful for this experience, I highly recommend it.

I had an amazing time in this volunteer, It felt like home. Sharing time with Mr Ty,the other volunteers and the childrens was very enriching for me and I'm already missing it. I played fotball with Ty almost everyday in my free time and we went out for dinner many times to try many different kind of foods. I totally recommend this volunteer if you want to feel integrated with vietnamese culture.

I absolutely loved every moment I got to spend at the school Centre. Mr Ty is incredibly hospitable, thoughtful and friendly individual, ensuring that I was well looked after throughout my whole stay, whether it was helping me with transportation, providing the best meals one could ask for and also being a wonderful person to converse with and get to know. The students here are passionate and an absolute joy to teach, and I already miss the kids dearly. I got many opportunities to play sports with the community, get to know the students in a meaningful way and I felt I made a good social impact.

Sorry for my reply a little late! firstly, we really have an deep emotion with a letter which Marcus left us on the board. I and all of students here miss Marcus a lot and yearn to see Marcus one day in the future. He is a young teacher but he has full energy and enthusiasm. He is suitable with many speaking levels, not picky about food, ready to help us any time and specially Marcus loves children a lot, he can teach them, play with them, make them laugh, ...

Volunteering at Ty's Centre for 2 weeks was an incredible and unique experience that would be benefit anyone, regardless of experience. Ty is a very considerate host who makes sure every volunteer is as happy as possible. He happily meets any dietary requirements with a variety of delicious food, and makes an effort to match volunteers with students of equivalent competency. Volunteers have lots of autonomy with the lessons, and the students (~5-20y) are so friendly! Each day is different and there is flexibility with work hours so you still have time to explore the beautiful small city.
