My experience at the Kissiri house was incredible! Very nice place with all kind of things needed and lovely family, allways attentive and willing to help. I really felt welcome as one more in the house :) Also the projects to volunteer were very nice and I really felt that I was contributing to something good. Full flexibility to decide when and in wich project to help and also to organise the leisure trips. I am definetly looking forward to repeat!! Asante sana James and Kissiri family! :)

Recomiendo totalmente esta experiencia. James es un anfitrión de 10. Él y su familia te acogen, te preparan el desayuno, comida y cena, y te dan una habitación y un lavabo para ti. Te ayudan en todo lo que necesitas y están muy atentos a que todo vaya bien. Puedes ayudar en un colegio local, en la granja de la casa o en un orfanato. Según el día nosotros ayudabamos en un sitio u otro, lo puedes combinar como mejor te vaya. Incluso puedes ir a dos sitios en el mismo día. Fuimos con el respeto de no saber qué nos encontraríos, y volvemos con ganas de más. Asante sana Kissiri family!

Una experiencia vital e increíble que no se puede explicar con palabras!! La familia Kissiri te hará sentir desde el primer momento como en casa y te acogerán como a uno más de la familia! Harán que tu estancia allí sea muy especial! La experiencia en el orfanato fue muy emocionante y sin duda lo que más me marcó. Poder compartir amor y cariño con todos los niñxs que te enseñan tantas cosas y te llenan el alma de amor! Ya los echo mucho de menos a todxs!! Estoy deseando volver!!

I certainly had an amazing stay, was fed so well the food was delicious and comforting. I enjoyed being on the farm on a nice cool sunny day without distractions…just picking crops and learning what it takes to be self sustainable. Definitely recommend this Host!

I had a beautiful week at James family. His younger brother David was responsible for me and cared a lot about my needs. I felt like being part of the family. The food that their sister made was always absolutely fantastic. I helped with the farmwork, the animals and all day work. We had a wonderful trip to the waterfalls too. My room was very nice and I felt comfortable at all times. I can't wait to come back. Big thank you to Mama Kissiri for all the love and care.

I had an unforgettable experience during my stay in Arusha. The Kissiri family is warm and pampers you in any way they can. I got to learn a lot about how to treat the different seasonal crops with the help of James and his family. Schedules are pretty flexible, no one rushes you to do your tasks, and during the afternoon you usually have spare time. The food is delicious, so you also get to taste some traditional dishes.

Esta experiencia me ha hecho abrir los ojos y el corazón a cada persona que conocía. Gracias a este voluntariado he madurado y me he hecho mejor persona. Cada día era una aventura con miles de sorpresas y alegrías que repetiría mil y una veces. Me quedo muy satisfecha y feliz de haber tenido la oportunidad de viajar de esta manera y ayudar.
