As a volunteer, you will become part of the staff in maintaining the hostel. Your job is to help check in/check out guests, interact with them, clean, cook and enjoy your stay here. We are a family and we want to work together as one. Communication is very important and we want to make sure we always maintain it.

Programmdetails

Our volunteer programme is designed to integrate you into the daily life of our hostel, helping us provide a fantastic experience for our guests. It's a hands-on opportunity where you'll be a key part of our small, friendly team.


We believe in a collaborative environment. You will have the chance to try out all the different tasks to see what you enjoy most. We're happy to talk with you about specializing in a particular area, whether it's cooking, cleaning, or general guest hospitality. You won't be on your own; we currently have three other volunteers, and we make sure there is always enough support from local staff or ourselves to help with everything.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

A typical day begins with the morning rush, where we all work together to serve breakfast and coffee to our guests from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. This is also our busiest time, as we handle check-outs and payments. Once the morning quietens down, the focus shifts to preparing for new arrivals by cleaning the rooms. This usually starts around 11:00 AM.

Beyond the daily routine, you'll also get to participate in special activities, such as our family dinners. Every second night, we cook a meal for our guests, and your help with setting the table and serving is greatly appreciated. We are also excited about a new venture: a poke bowl restaurant operating from our hostel. While my wife and I currently handle this, it's a new area where a motivated volunteer could get involved.

All in all, you will work 5/6 hours per day, leavinglots of time to explore the lovely city of Dalat or do nomad work, or keep up your gym routine.

We also expect you to:

* **Communicate Openly:** We value your ideas and opinions. We believe that everything can be resolved through good, open conversation, so please feel free to share your thoughts with us.
* **Be Part of the Family:** We're a small, close-knit team. This means we all clean up after ourselves and help out after meals, just like a family would.
