I stayed at the hostel for one month, and from the very first day I felt welcomed like part of a family. The hostel is very small, cozy, and familiar, and the whole staff has always been kind, helpful, and supportive. I worked in housekeeping and also helped in the kitchen, and everyone was always available to help me. All the tasks were easy and explained in a simple way. Even when there were language barriers, we always found a way to understand each other. I truly recommend this volunteer experience and I would definitely do it again.

My stay was amazing at the hostel. They are all so friendly and welcoming. I had to leave earlier than i planned but even then they were really amazing and i can fully recommend staying there. U get to meet so many new people and also learn new languages and food cultures in the dinners

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was great. All the staff were very friendly, and time passed quickly while working with them. The work was easy, the spaces were clean, and the hostel is located in the city center. Faro is a small, calm city where you can really relax and enjoy your time during the volunteering. If you're thinking of applying, I highly recommend it. Thank you for everything!

This was my first volunteering experience, and it was truly unforgettable! The staff were incredibly kind and quickly grew on me — they made me feel welcome from day one. The work was easy and enjoyable, and I loved connecting with travelers from all over the world. The atmosphere was friendly and familiar, and there's so much to experience in and around Faro. The surf lessons were amazing too! I'll really miss this place and all the wonderful people I met here. Great hostel, great people, great experience!

Mi experiencia en Hostellicious / el hostel fue increíble. Desde el primer día me sentí súper bienvenida por todo el equipo y los voluntarios. El ambiente es social, relajado y lleno de buena energía, ideal para conocer gente de todo el mundo, aprender y compartir momentos únicos. Las tareas están bien organizadas y se trabaja en equipo. Los recepcionistas fueron lo mejor, siempre con buena onda, paciencia y sentido del humor. Gracias a Helena y a todos por hacerlo tan especial ❤️ Recomiendo este voluntariado al 100%, sin dudas volvería.

Completamente falso! Taiane nunca foi nossa voluntária. Ela foi funcionaria de RH e responsável pelos voluntários. Usou os poderes que tinha em beneficio próprio enquanto funcionaria e depois de ter saído, ainda roubou os nossos acessos no worldpackers para criar esta estadia falsa connosco.

My time in Faro was amazing! In the hostels the staff are very friendly, everyone is welcoming. The work is not hard, all they needed is to help out with serving and preparing the dinners, and the cleanup afterwards. Faro is a little calm city, so not that many things to do, but a good place to explore the Algarve. The other volunteers who I worked with were amazing, they truly made the experience special. If you thinking of applying, I would a 10000% recommend! Thank u for everything!

I couldn't be happier with my experience here. The job was easy and the working hours were respected, but what I truly loved were the people I got to meet: such a fun and social hostel where you can connect with so many international travelers and make incredible friendships. A big thank-you as well to the amazing team at Hostellicious and the hostel and to the volunteers I shared my experience with, they really made Faro feel like my home away from home. For anyone reading this: if you're hesitating about applying for this volunteer experience, just go for it. You won't regret it :)

Mi experiencia en Hostellicious / el hostel fue increible. Los dos hostels son muy tranquilos, la gente es muy amable y sociable y he disfrutado muchísimo de la compañía del staff y de las otras voluntarias. El trabajo es muy tranquilo y poco exigente, tienes dos días libres por semana y puedes aprovechar todas las mañanas. Estoy muy contenta de haber ido y sobretodo de haber compartido esta experiencia con las voluntarias que me encontré! Muchas gracias por todo a todo el equipo!
