El hostel es un lugar hermoso para conocer gente y pasar momentos fantásticos. El grupo de voluntarios es grande, el hostel muy lindo para disfrutar, el desayuno super completo. Sin embargo, como voluntaria, no respetaron las tareas en las que habíamos acordado. Hice tres turnos distintos, ninguno de los cuales para lo que vine. Las habitaciones fueron en un primer momento bastante precarias e incómodas, no estabamos comodos ni podiamos descansar bien. La exigencia para con los voluntarios es bastante alta y a veces un poco hostil, lo cual puede generar un ambiente un poco tenso.

O the hostel é um espaço muito especial. A arquitetura e os detalhes do lugar são muito lindos. Fiquei três meses montado o café da manhã e tive uma experiência muito boa. Recomendo para qualquer pessoa que tenha interesse em ficar em Santa Teresa. Obrigado por ter me acolhido no Rio.

I had a really great experience volunteering at this hostel. I met so many amazing people during my stay and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the first day. Everyone was incredibly sweet and helpful, both the staff and the guests. I worked at the reception and honestly, the work didn't even feel like work because the vibe was so relaxed and enjoyable. I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a friendly, social, and supportive place to volunteer. I'm very grateful for the memories and the people I met!

I loved my 2 months at the hostel. The volunteers were amazing, they keep the castle alive! Everyone, from managers to cleaning staff, was super kind and welcoming. The hostel is in the safe and charming neighborhood of Santa Teresa. Being surrounded by nature made every day feel magical. I was also able to improve my english a lot since most of the guests are gringos. At first, I worked the overnight reception shift, which was tiring. But after talking to Gladis, they moved me to another schedule. The volunteers dorm needs improvement, but staying in the female dorm made everything perfect! 💛

O the hostel é encantador, experiência única, consegui praticar bastante o inglês e o espanhol e me conectar com pessoas de todo o mundo, gostava das minhas atividades e os anfitriões sempre estão abertos para te ouvir.

Unfortunately my time here was cut short, however it was a really good experience. I worked at reception and they taught me how everything works and were patient with teaching me. The staff there are super friendly and I got along great with all the volunteers! Besides that, it is one of the most gorgeous hostels I've ever stayed at! I had 3 days off during the week which gave me plenty of time to explore rio :))) !!!

Minha experiência no hostel foi ótima! As tarefas, horários e responsabilidades sempre foram respeitados. O lugar é incrível, parece um filme paralelo ao Rio, conecta com a natureza e reúne pessoas de várias culturas. Pude praticar meu inglês e me senti muito confortável com as acomodações. Planejava ficar 1 semana e acabei ficando 1 mês e meio! O espaço permite tanto socializar quanto ter seu tempo próprio. Recomendo muito essa experiência e agradeço ao staff e às pessoas lindas que levo comigo do hostel 💚

My experience at the hostel was great; i stayed for over moren than two months. Tasks at night shift 1 were simple and the schedule respected. The location in Santa Teresa was beautiful just keep in minf you'll have to take uber regularly :) The space is wonderful, green and quiet also the pool and the breakfast. The volunteers room need some improvements but they were already making changes before I left. I was able to make great comnections with people there and enjoy Rio in a relaxed way. They were also flexible with my travel dates which I really appreciated. Thank you for everything!!
