2 weeks at Puntas the reserve was not enough ! I learned so much about marine life, the culture and had a lot of fun with all the team. A big thank you to Andrea and Diego but also the entire family working there to make us feel at home with wonderful attentions, specials activities and delicious meals

This volunteering experience is quite unique, not only you get to work in nature and with the turtles, but you also have the beach right next to you! The most lovely part is you have the biggest welcome from the hosts Diego and Andrea who are really grateful and are treating you like family! If you really love nature, the ocean and animals this could be an incredible place for you since you will be immerse in this kind of environment or if it's something that you have never done but really interested about and would like to learn about all of that, I would gladly suggest it to you!!

Would 100% recommend this experience. Andrea, Diego, and the whole team are incredible not just to learn from but also for making you feel like part of the family. We had the opportunity to learn about the oceans, the reserve both on land and for the turtles and to get hands on experience in this environment. We watched turtles lay eggs, eggs hatch, made chocolate from local plants, harvested plants and took part in rewilding and did regular beach cleans. This place is amazing and truly makes a positive impact on the community and ecosystem! 🫶🏽🐢

Visiting the reserve was one of the best decisions I ever made. The hosts, Diego and Andrea are so knowledgeable and so eager to share their beautiful culture with guests. They are incredibly kind, supportive, and flexible. The location is stunning and remote and all the locals are very kind and welcoming. I felt very safe, very welcome, and I learned so much! If you like to learn about nature, do some sustainable volunteer work, immerse yourself in local culture, or explore a new place, I highly recommend this program. I also recommend going for a longer trip.

I learned so much from this volunteer experience from both Diego and Andrea. Between Andrea giving us information on the reserve and marine biology and Diego giving us information on local history and agriculture, they are a treasure trove of knowledge. During my time, I was able to learn about the reserve efforts to help the turtles and their nests, see baby sea turtles being rehabilitated, and observe a nesting mother! This area is very safe and calm and in a rural part of Ecuador. The food was also amazing. I highly recommend volunteering here.

This trip was Everything I could ask for! Fun, engaging, and educational. The cabins were so cute, the food delicious, and company of the other volunteers was so warm. Diego and Andrea provided a very welcoming and wonderful atmosphere. And there is no shortage of activities! Ecuador is beautiful, and with this experience you get to appreciate everything from the villages to the beaches to the rainforests. This was my first international trip, and coming from a female solo traveler, rest assured your safety and comfort is of the utmost care of the hosts. So take the leap, you won't regret it!

Andreja & Diego were welcoming & provided everything we asked for & more! Having a group as motivated & positive to experience this with was also a huge help. The accommodation was exactly what you should expect from a remote rainforest the reserve. With that being said please come prepared! What they're doing out here is monumental & it was a great pleasure to contribute to the effort. Extremely proud of everyone & i cant wait to come back!

The reserve is THE BEST!!! Diego and Andrea are the most amazing kind people I have met and they made me feel like family from day 1. The coolest people I swear!! And so many amazing activities and learning opportunities. Could not recommend the reserve more!!!
