Simone was an amazing person to know and work with. She was dedicated and loves to share her artistic gifts. Simone painted my view which I will share to future travelers. You will be lucky to have her in your home and business.
The place is awesome, beautiful views and a really nice house. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to refrain from daily and stressful life. I, for myself, felt very lonely up that hill and if you don't want to spend too much money but still go out, it's not the right place, because you'll always need a lyft/uber. The tasks are very cool and fun and you can learn a lot and get to know new food and recipes. I was sad because I was the only helper at that time and usually you don't get to meet guests. It's very different from a hostel and it really depends on the person you are.
Simone was the best! She really helped make the hostel better and we'd love to have her back anytime. She is a great addition to any group and/or hostel.
This hostel is amazing! I had a great time, work was fine, every day but limited to 2 hours. The people there were the best part of my experience, it couldn't have been any better! I never wanted to leave and I will definitely try to come back! The city of the hostel is beautiful as well, especially when you enjoy live music. Overall a fantastic place to stay and my words are not exaggertad at all. Miss everyone in this hostel!!

About me as an author
Hi there! I'm a sunshine girl who loves to travel, originally from Frankfurt, Germany. I started my travel life in China, where I lived for one year. Then continued to expolre South East Asia, Europa, the United States and Australia, alway looking for sunny moments, sometimes in the clouds and sometimes in my heart! I'm very happy to help you, feel free to contact me if you have any travel related questions. Cheers, Simone
I studied Chinese, South East Asian Studies and International Mangement in Frankfurt, Germany. During my studies I had the chance to stay one semester in Beijing and another semester in Shanghai, furthermore I took part in an exchange program with USD (University of San Diego) where I studied International Marketing Strategies and Project Management.
Work experience
When I was a student I worked in service and I helped out in a company that does inventories in various supermarkets. Since 2010 I am working for the German Air Traffic Control (DFS) where I first had a 2 years commercial training, then worked for 4 years in Invoice Verification and Accounting. Since 2016 I work as a Flight Data Specialist, checking flight data, coordinating with Eurocontrol and set up flight data reports and statistics. Since the end of 2017 I am authorized to live and work in the United States and that's what I plan to do!
Travel experience
I love to travel as much as I can. After spending my first semester abroad and travelling all over China, I wanted to see the world! My highlights are trips through Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong) as well as Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Whitehaven Beach), Brasil (where I have family) and the United States where I regularly visit California (San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, the Califirnian Desert) and New York. But I also like to travel around Europe because of its diversity. I love cultures and languages and meeting new people from all over the world. It's great to share experiences, travel stories or even insider tips for any region in the world!
