Laura is a very positive person, always ready to help and good energy. She was a great help for our hostel, cooked several times for the common dinner, helped at our bar doing full shift at night and was also part of the morning team (breakfast and changing beds). We highly recommend her! Thanks again for everything Laura! Wish you the best <3
My first experience at WP and it couldn't have been better. I felt at home the whole time, made good friends and had a great time at the hostel! The tasks are simple and very easy to do... you always work with another volunteer! And nothing goes beyond what was agreed upon before. La Controla will be your space of peace in the middle of the chaos of Napoli! 🌴✌🏻 Thank you for all the staff, I will miss you all very much, thank you for the Italian lessons, laughter and the great times we had. Ci vediamo! Grazie mille per tutti ❤️

Hi, I'm lau! I have a degree in Public Relations but today I focus my professional side on creating content: life experiences, travel and day-to-day life. Traveling for me means challenging yourself by leaving your comfort zone and embracing the unknown.

Sempre tive o espírito empreendedor. Quando pequena, vendia bolo e doces no meu bairro, vendia desenhos e adesivos na escola.
Na faculdade fui diretora de eventos e marketing da atlética de comunicação da minha universidade e pude também, estagiar em uma multinacional na área de vendas e treinamento.
Veio a pandemia, e abri meu próprio negócio. Fui tudo, era somente eu: Fui vendedora, financeiro, logística, social media e marketing e tudo que uma empresa precisa pra fazer dar certo.
Agora estou buscando me encontrar profissionalmente, saber o que eu realmente gosto e quero.

I always had an entrepreneurial spirit. When I was a little girl, I sold cakes and candies in my neighborhood, and I sold drawings and stickers at school.
In university I was the director of events and marketing for communication athletic department, and I was also an intern at a multinational company in sales and training area.
Then came the pandemic, I opened my own business. I was everything, it was just me: I was a salesperson, financial, logistics, social media and marketing, and everything that a company needs to make it work.
Now I am trying to find myself professionally, to know what I really like and want.

A paixão por viagens e conhecer o mundo veio desde pequena. Já moramos por 6 meses no Canada, depois fiz 2 meses de trabalho voluntário no Peru e pude fazer minha primeira viagem sozinha pelo país. Em 2018 fiz intercâmbio pela faculdade para Portugal, e foi ai que vivendo em Portugal e fazendo um pequeno mochilão de férias da faculdade que me apaixonei pela Europa e sabia que voltaria.
Agora em 2022, decidi me mudar para Itália e explorar esse país e o mundo!

The passion for traveling and seeing the world came since I was a little girl. My family and I lived for 6 months in Canada, then I did 2 months of volunteer work in Peru and was able to make my first trip alone around the country. In 2018 I went on a university exchange to Portugal, and it was then that living in Portugal and doing a small backpacking vacation that I fell in love with Europe and knew I would return.
Now in 2022, I decided to move to Italy and explore this beautiful country and the world!
