A experiência

My name is Helena. I’ve been visiting La Palma for several winters as a volunteer, and less than a year ago I met Marco, who owns a guesthouse here. I just moved permanently to the island and decided to help Marco reinvent the place.

We need help with painting and small construction works. Preferably somebody with experience with that.

20 horas por semana

Pintura e Decoração: Ajude a pintar ou redecorar espaços internos e externos.

Construção e Reparos: Ajude em reparos, manutenção ou a construir.

Requisitos

Inglês Intermediário ou Espanhol Intermediário

Tem que ter pelo menos 19 anos

Recebe voluntários sozinhos, casais e duplas de voluntários

Atividades & Turnos

There are plenty of things to do, and they vary quite a lot. Some examples:

-Painting walls
-Fixing the walls (after the heavy rainfall we have some condensation problems)
-Building some roof construction on the terrace
-Building stairs to the garden
-Building small fence in the garden

After help, if you feel like it, I can show you around the island — I’m currently working on my official guide license, so I know a bit about the place 😉

20 hours per week — 2 days off

-We have one shared dormitory (4 people), but the rest are private rooms — so it’s more of a guesthouse than a hostel 🏡
