The people were mostly very nice and accommodating. My only complaint was about the room provided for stay. Not very comfortable . As well, it would be nice if they helped to resolve issues and confusions related to the work.

Hola ! Me gustaría agradecer a Dai y a Vic, quienes son personas increíbles! Le pongo una mala puntuación al trueque del voluntariado ya que el cuarto de voluntarios es terrible, es realmente oscuro, no tiene ventilación y huele a hongos/ humedad. Este es el principal trueque: trabajo por estadía y no conseguí dormir ni descansar por la mala condición del cuarto. Espero el hostel este contento con el trabajo que hice y logren mejorar estos espacios urgentemente para los voluntarios que hoy están allí. Yo estaré para ayudarlos en el camino si lo necesitan !

Una muy buena experiencia en el hostel. Encontré personas muy amables, aprendí un poco más del idioma portugués gracias a otros voluntarios y conocí mas de su cultura. El gerente del hostel es una persona muy amable tanto con voluntarios como con personal del hostel. Lo recomiendo 100%

Fue un alivio llegar al hostel, después de una temporada difícil (desde que llegó la pandemia), así que de una larga temporada de aislamiento, llegar a Rio y al hostel fue un gran respiro, me senti recibido en una família y eso me devolvió las fuerzas, la esperanza en poder volver a viajar de nuevo, una mano amiga siempre viene bien. Gracias al hostel y a todas esas personas que hacemos parte de él por un tiempo y a los que siguen ahí, tirando la buena onda a todos los que pisan sus bonitas instalaciones.

Increíble experiencia! Esta es mi primera vez en Río de Janeiro y también en Worldpackers ❤️ Todos son muy amables, muy cariñosos, alegres, me encanta que sean así Siempre dispuestos a ayudarte y mejorar Gracias a Tati por ver a alguien legal en mi. Gracias a Marcio y Josie los gobernantes, dispuestos a guiarte en todo momento. Tuve la oportunidad de ver la felicidad en su máximo esplendor Siempre muchas personas interesantes por conocer Río te envuelve en esa energía de hacer, siempre hay mucho movimiento Belleza ❤️ Muy feliz y agradecida por todo el hostel es una bella familia ✨

I had a wonderful stay working in the hostel, i made good friends and i could know better the city of Rio de Janeiro, the hostel is well located and the tasks for volunteer are well organized, the breakfast is really good, i recommend it.

Maybe wasn't the best experience in terms of volunteering, be a Worldpaker means exchang skills for an accommodation, during high season we had some problems with that, but we fixed it; As well I think they should be a little bit more flexible with volunteers hours, just giving some extra days off or a free extra hours when they don't needs us, to let us visiting and join better the city; But afterwards the time spent there was incredibly amazing , I met extraordinary people, we had such a great time as a team. THANKS everyone! owners, managers, staff & WP! ALL OF U ARE JUST AMAZING

The hostel is a very good hostel in Rio: it's clean, close to the beach, in a very nice neighborhood, it offers a lot of services! I spent there one month and I really loved all the other wp (volunteers). We create a wanderful friendship and I'm sure we'll see again! The only bad thing of these hostel was the organization of the owners and of the manager. They don't explain very well what you have to do, but they pretend more than it. Sometimes it seemed like we were really workers with a salary, not just volunteers. The working environment was a little bit heavy and difficult.
