Here a few more points:
1️⃣ To get the most out of your experience, it's important that you are self-sufficient, capable of taking care of yourself. Both emotionally and energetically. Life here can be unpredictable—some days are full of excitement, while others are quiet and slow🌤️
2️⃣ Even though we are international and speak many languages a fluent English or German is requested since communication is key in our environment.
3️⃣ If this sound like a place you could strive in, please let us know why you're interested and how you think you can contribute to this place. We're open to both tangible and intangible skills.
We invest time and resources to answer every mail personally and we appreciate if you do the same. Copy-paste messages or some AI robots are not well received.
We have a Ping Pong Table, as well as a Pool Table, Sauna, hot pot, cold bath. You are also always invited to play Card and Board Games with us. Also it’s seen as almost mendetory to learn the cardgame „Tichu" - google it!
There are also hiking paths around the area🏔️, as well as lots of skiing and sledging opportunities during the winter season. During the warmer month of the year, you can bath inside the clear rivers, or be especially brave and take part in ice bathing during winter.
If you wish to have some city-sightseeing-adventures. You'll reach St. Gallen in 30 Minutes, Winterthur in 40 Minutes and Zürich in 60🏙️
Atividades & Turnos
The help is defined with the skills and desires you bring with you. After some time you get a natural feeling and self-responsibility, of where you can use your energy and enthusiasm and we see together, what work will fit best. Being kind of handy and anger to learn will definitely give you even more options🙌
It could happen that:
- Learn about sustainable ways of living and working. Research and practice them in a space that offers almost everything.
- Gain a new perspective by questioning the norm. Learn about construction, conscious consumption.
- learn about DIY WOOD and metal work
- Gain self-confidence in creating what comes into your mind.
- Meet amazing individuals. Practice communication, living in a community and finding solutions.
- Learn about swiss culture and learn swissgerman or also english.
🕒 Schedule: Around 25 hours per week with 2 days off.
Every day is different — flexible, creative, and full of opportunities to learn and grow 🌿
For Logistic Pourpuse and for our peace of mind we ask you to arrive during the week end

We get along quite well with the most kind of people or behavior but here some you need to be aware:
People responsible for:
-Physical violence
-Attacks/aggressiveness
-Theft
-Lost of control true Drugs
-Strong uncomfortable feeling of member and or guests
-People overstaying the agreed period
may be forced to leave instantly or in a max of 24h with no further discussion.
Please feel free to come to us for any situation that will make you feel uncomfortable.
Regras
-We do a little bit of recycling, please read the “RECYCLING STANDARD” that you find in the kitchen
-We have a nice watching machine but you still need to prewash your plate/pan before you set them on the washing try. Differently the will come out still dirty
In the first week we’ll usually ask everyone to do housekeeping tasks. This will allow you to get to know the space and the people here.
-Personal spontaneous projects are very welcome but when you have one, it is needed for you to check in with a member of the community which has to agree on it. They will also give you the indication that you need (material/resources etc.)
When you leave, clean up your sleeping space and put laundry in the laundry basket (bathroom). Fold your blanket and put it back in the cabinet.
-This is a safe space. Although in many years few unpleasant episodes had happened. -----Take care of your own personal belongings.
-In Switzerland health care is crazy expensive: quick check from a Doctor (5 min up to 100 CHF/ call an ambulance 700/2100 CHF). You are not covered by Wirkstadt insurance in any case, shape or form. If you have not yet a travel insurance we warmly recommend you to make one.
-You are NOT ALLOWED without a specific “yes” from a community member to:
-Drive community cars / Use stationary machines
-In the night (from 11pm) be silent in the bathroom, there are rooms of members very close to it, so be aware that you might disturb them with chats or other sounds in the bathroom.
-to fulfil your working hours is self responsible, no one will check, so it‘s on you to observe yourself
-be aware that here are several people living, concerning things like loud music in the living area or noisy activity the in the evening. None of that is forbidden but check in consciously
