The hostel is very social place, we got to meet not only volunteers, but a lot of cool guests. Work is not hard, you help around at the reception, bar or with cleaning 4 days a week. Eduardo and Paulina are very cool managers. I really enjoyed my 3 weeks in the hostel. Definitely recommend this place and hope to come back one day:)

The hostel has really fun events, the other volunteers were amazing, the hours were super fair and the work is easy and fun. BUT, Felipe (the full time “bar manager” who lives there), made me feel so uncomfortable as a woman that I had to leave early. He made gross comments about my appearance, he'd change what I had to do for work so I'd look like a bad employee, and he tries to be sexually intimate with really drunk volunteers and guests alike. He made multiple other girls leave early during my time. CHOOSE A DIFFERENT HOSTEL IF UR A GIRL.

Realmente la pasé muy bien en el hostel! Fue mi primer voluntario a través de WorldPackers y definitivamente valió la pena hacerlo! Te involucras en un entorno realmente internacional y conoces a mucha gente agradable! Las tareas del trabajo son realmente relajadas y flexibles y todos los que trabajan allí son realmente amables y serviciales. I really had a good time there🌞 Lo único que no fue tan aspectos es que no nos dieron el desayuno.

The hostel is within walking distance to a lot. Restaurants, bars, stores, La Vega market, etc. I liked the fact that male and female volunteers have different rooms. On Sundays they have a free bbq which I thought was cool. Unfortunately during my time here I was sick. I did my best to communicate and showed up as best as I could. I didn't feel that there was any empathy and there's too many people conveying messages instead of direct and clear communication. I left a few days earlier to take care of my health.

Muy agradecido con los anfitriones del hostel, son un equipazo. Me gusta lo coordinados y atentos que son, tareas claras y definidas, horarios cómodos y que mejor poder contar con asesoramiento para conocer las mejores experiencias que Santiago de Chile tiene para ofrecerte.

Mi experiencia laboral en el hostel fue excepcional. Los días libres me permitieron explorar la ciudad, el horario de trabajo estaba claramente definido, y pude participar en diversas actividades según mis habilidades. La oportunidad de practicar idiomas y conocer personas de todo el mundo fue enriquecedora. La ubicación es inmejorable, cerca de puntos turísticos, estaciones de metro y autobús. Además, el café de la mañana, los descuentos y las entradas gratuitas a las fiestas hicieron que la experiencia fuera aún más especial. Altamente recomendado!

Increíble la experiencia de haber tomado el voluntariado en el hostel , me sentí cómoda desde el primer día que llegue, las actividades son variadas y tienes buen tiempo para conocer la ciudad, la gente que conocí como voluntarios y huéspedes fueron geniales y viajeros de todas partes del mundo, un gran agradecimiento para los anfitriones Axa, Felipe y Eduardo que te hacen sentir como en casa.

El hostal es muy bacano, tienen muchas actividades, fiestas y zonas de esparcimiento donde puedes tomar el sol, eso si cuando llegues toma la iniciativa de organizar tu espacio, limpiarlo puesto que lo compartes con otros voluntarios.

I had the most amazing first volunteer experience at the hostel! I felt at home with the other volunteers and staff, and working at the bar was as easy as it was fun. I felt like I made a difference there by providing feedback and training to new volunteers. I left with a lot of gratitude for this magical place.
