Detalhes

As a volunteer teacher, you will work alongside local educators to deliver dynamic, interactive, and confidence-building language lessons. The program is designed to be hands-on, with volunteers assisting in various aspects of teaching, including:

Teaching English: You’ll help students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through fun and engaging lessons. Classes will include activities that encourage communication and build confidence.
Cultural Exchange: As you teach, you’ll also engage in cultural exchange, learning about the local traditions, values, and daily life in Lombok. Your presence will not only enhance students’ language abilities but also expose them to global perspectives.
Classroom Support: Volunteers may assist in classroom management, one-on-one tutoring, and group activities to provide extra support to students who need it.
Educational Workshops: In addition to language teaching, you might have the opportunity to run workshops or after-school activities that build skills in areas like creativity, teamwork, and leadership.

Shifts typically run during the morning and afternoon, with breaks in between to rest and engage with fellow volunteers or the local community. Volunteers are given training and orientation before starting, and ongoing support is provided throughout the program to ensure a positive and impactful experience.

By participating in this program, you’ll not only help improve the educational opportunities for children in Lombok but also experience life in a breathtaking coastal village. This is the perfect opportunity to combine teaching, cultural exchange, and community involvement in one of the most beautiful places in Indonesia.
