My time at the farm was great and I learned a lot of handy new skills. Jonathan is a great teacher and host. The tasks vary in difficulty and if you are not comfortable doing a certain thing there is always something else to do. The meals were really great. Everyday 2 people cook lunch for everyone which we all eat together. And it's a great way to experience different cultures by eating. Overall I had a really great time and I'm sure I will find myself back in Devon in the future.

I am truly grateful for this month on the Jonathan's farm. I did meet people from different countries, I had an experience rural life, and I was also able to improve my English. I am grateful to Jonathan and all the friends who were with me during this time. La Berega!

I think Jonatan could only change the work schedule, giving people more time to get to know the place and have more time during the week, since we dedicate ourselves 100% to the farm, working 7 hours a day. It ends up straying a little from the worldpackers proposal, which is “volunteering”. Other than that, my experience was incredible, I had a very deep internal and external immersion, the place is beautiful, my room was comfortable and it was only for women. I met people from 8 different countries. I practiced English and Spanish. I thank Jonatan for the opportunity.

While I loved the farm itself, the scenery and learnt a lot, I did not have a good experience. Two weeks in, the host forced me to move from the girls room into the private room. This made me deeply uncomfortable, and I had to leave because I no longer felt safe. After I left, I contacted the host on Worldpackers, but he didn't really understand or address my concerns. He claimed this was for "practical reasons" citing space, scheduling and group dynamics, with no specifics. If you're trans, gender non-conforming or, like me, an ally often mistaken as such, I recommend avoiding this host.

Jonathan accept me at the last minute and i stay 2 months and half. There is two teams for the works one for cleaning the airbnbs and the other is outside work. You will be sure to touch everything once because here there is always something to do! Watch out with a lot of people, it get a mess quickly in this house.😉

The experience was amazing; I met wonderful people and improved my English by speaking it all the time. While some parts of the house need improvement, I understand these things take time and resources. With teamwork and effort, everything runs smoothly. I'm very grateful for the memories, laughter, and the opportunity. Jonathan was incredibly kind, and I hope to see him again. Being on the farm was a dream I'll never forget.
