This was my first worldpackers experience and it was perfect from start to finish. Fiorella was extremely helpful and communicative before I arrived and while I was there Miguel was an incredible manager/coworker. The shifts mostly involved cleaning and serving guests at the bar. I had the opportunity to meet a lot of locals and tourists and each day was fun. You are able to work directly on the beach and see the sunset every day. I now consider Miguel and Bar de Beto close friends and would suggest this opportunity to anyone!

This is a family run hostel, and by the end of your volunteering, you will feel like family! Everyone was so great. I definitely felt like I got more than I gave. I am sad to leave but excited for more people to experience this place and working with this family.

Muchas gracias por todo otra vez! Tuve una semana perfecta en el hostal Galápagos, en el bar de beto y en la familia! I truly made new friends and enjoyed the week. By any chance I would have extend my work there. But it's all good and I know that I come back anytime. the work was decent and various, so I could improve skills and learn new stuff. most fun was to work with Miguel in the bar, especially Friday and Saturday afternoon. we became a team and tried to speak as much Spanish as possible. I also got a surf lesson by Miguel and I could support the Bar with fotos! feliz cumpleaños Edith!

My stay at Hostel the hostel Bar de Beto was just incredible. The family is so kind and welcoming and they made me feel at home from day one. The tasks at the hostel was as described in the listing and they were really flexible so I could also be able to see the island. I loved getting to experience day to day life on Isabela island. You fall asleep listening to the ocean and wake up to a rooster or two and incredible views of the island and the sea. It was truly an amazing experience to be on Isabela Island. I highly recommend staying at Hostel the hostel!
