It was soo nice :) I came in the beginning of the season so the work was very easygoing, not stressfull at all. I mostly did ironing, cleaning and preparing the guest house for the guests in Firopotamos and the view is truly breathtaking. I loved my time here ♥, Milos offers so many beautiful places to visit and activities to do, I really enjoyed a boat trip that Vasilis and Melissa took us on, but for swimming it was still a bit cold :D I even end up doing a scuba diving licence here and the cats everywhere are pure love. I definitely recommend and I'm very grateful for this experience ♥.

This was a great experience and I had the chance to explore the scenic island of Milos. I was able to explore the entire island around the work schedule because the work schedule was either working in the morning or the afternoon. Vasili and Melissa were great host, communicative, accommodating, friendly to work with, and ensured the work was carried out respectfully. It was a good time overall to be able to work with the scenic view of Firopotamos. It was a truly great experience to have.

I had a great time during my 2 weeks in Milos. The island is absolutely beautiful with many surroundings to explore. The view while working is stunning as well. Vasilis and Melissa are lovely people and I'm so glad I could help in anyway. I will miss them and the island in hopes to be back someday. Thank you for everything!! <3

Los chicos muy bien, muy buena onda ambos, las horas laborales se cumplen , las tareas son variadas pero realmente no se cumplió lo q ellos prometieron sobre los tours y los paseos. No me sentí motivada por ese lado, más bien sentí q solo fui a trabajar y realmente eso me desilusionó. Por otro lado, no son claros con los horarios laborales y no cumplen a rajatablas las reglas que ellos mismos imponen El lugar es precioso y ellos son excelentes pero la experiencia como tal no me gustó, sentí que fui a trabajar sin ninguna retribución enriquecedora como tal. mi comentario es con cariño y respeto

Lamentamos que aparte del trabajo y las cenas en nuestra casa, no hayamos podido compartir más tiempo. Conocer la isla y realizar actividades depende de la disposición de cada worldpacker
Los worldpackers trabajan cuatro horas y tienen el resto del día para realizar las actividades que deseen sin embargo siempre tratamos de mostrar la isla y dejar un lindo recuerdo Lamentamos que en tu corta estadía no hayamos podido salir, sin contar que decidiste irte antes de lo acordado Muchas gracias.

I spent 25 days here and I miss it so much! This was my first Worldpackers experience and it could not have been better. Vasilis and Melissa were so nice, welcoming, and flexible. I worked 6 days a week for 4 hours each day, exactly what was agreed upon. I would help in the rental properties or iron. Since I came in the slow season I also did other things. The work was not hard at all, it was never stressful. I would do this Worldpackers again in a heartbeat. You will love the cats, the beach, the coffee, the small town, and so much more. I recommend it!

Esta es mi primera experiencia como WP y Vasilis con Meli me han dado la mejor experiencia que pude haber querido y esperado. Me sentí muy cómoda desde el minuto cero; siempre muy amables y considerados, incluso nos invitaban a panoramas geniales por la isla. Las tareas las reparten muy equitativamente y NO es harto trabajo, para nada (cosas básicas de aseo y planchado). Puede que te sientas cansado los primeros 2 o 3 días pero luego agarras el ritmo y se hace todo muy liviano. Además, es una linda oportunidad de conocer gente local. Agradecen el buen trabajo y compromiso, no merecen menos.

In the short two weeks that I was in Milos I felt at home. The work might take a little bit to get the hang of but it is fair and simple. Get to know Milos, Vasilis, Mely and all the cats. Vasilis and Mely are so generous, kind, and funny. They helped us explore the island and get comfortable in a new place. Milos is one of the coolest places with lots of adventures and places to discover. I hope to come back one day. I would recommend this opportunity and message me with any questions! Where to start.. I'm back in my city since two days and I already miss Milos. I was in this island for 12 days and it seemed like 3 days.. time has passed so fast because I had a wonderful time. On the other hand I feel to know the island and Vasileios and Melis since more time. The work is in a beautiful place and the sea is in front of you, it's for 4 hours per day and it's very clear since Vasileios and Meli will explain to you everything since the first day. Forever grateful for these days, I will miss you and this island a lot. I wish you all the best with your business hopetoseeyousoon!

This is my first volunteering experience abroad, and it's been amazing! I've met so many great people- other volunteers, travelers, and locals. This position truly feels like a second home, and I'm so grateful for this experience. I honestly didn't know what to expect from my first volunteer experience, but I don't know if another place could top this one. I hope to return here in the future, because it really has been great! Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Vasilis and Melissa of the guest house are the best worlpacker hosts! They are kind, welcoming and understanding of anything you may need during your stay. Milos is one of the most beautiful islands in Greece hands down and Vasilis sometimes takes his volunteers on beautiful boat trips just because. I met two volunteers who as they were leaving said this was their favorite part. Also, if you love cats this will be paradise for you. Vasilis loves them and feeds many strays near his home. I wish I didn't have to leave!
