I had an amazing experience volunteering at the Hostel. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the place has a spectacular view. Riccardo and Andrea, the owners, are incredibly kind and welcoming. They respected everything we had agreed on and made the experience absolutely perfect. As a volunteer, I felt truly appreciated, learned a lot, and met wonderful people. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Highly recommended!

My days at the hostel were amazing from the very first day, I felt at home. The volunteer work schedule is fair and leaves plenty of time to explore the area. Riccardo and Andrea are very supportive and helpful. The place is peaceful, with a wonderful terrace to relax and make new friends.

I truly enjoyed my time at the hostel! Volunteers get a cozy room with a private bathroom and delicious pancakes every morning. Riccardo and Andrea are incredibly warm-hearted people who create a friendly, family-like atmosphere. They also gave me great tips to explore Albania on my days off. The work was simple, and working hours were always respected. It was a memorable experience that I'll look back on with a smile.

The volunteers room is very small and just some beds on the floor, with no lockers. Bathroom is shared with everyone and only has half a shower door. Didn't know this was the accommodation beforehand so bit of a shock. Overall hostel is quite dirty. Unfortunately lots of people were ill at the time of my stay, including me after 2 nights there. Again not necessarily the host fault but this meant I had to leave to get better. When I mentioned leaving early Riccardo wasn't the most respectful. The location is also a good 20 minute walk up a steep hill from the beach. But work is easy.

Hi Saff, apparently we have a different concept of respect, I find "not the most respectful" leaving after a couple of days after committing for one month (in August/September). About your words on the hostel, what we offer and how we treat volunteers I think all our reviews can speak for us. It's always been an amazing experience so we can't really complain if a couple of times things go wrong

Good location on a main avenue, but limited amenities nearby (only a small shop and restaurant). Beaches are 15-25 min away; rooftop view is stunning. Relaxed work, but the volunteer room has just mattresses on the floor, and the bathroom is shared with all in the hostel. Since there is no dedicated cleaning staff, volunteers are responsible for cleaning, and the results can vary depending on who is on duty. I left earlier because the Wi-Fi was not reliable enough for my remote work, which includes video calls and video editing

The work is very easy. The work slots are always respected. During my work slots, I often had nothing to do. I had a lot of free time. The beach and the bus stop are a 15-minute walk away (it's a steep climb to get back). Thanks to the buses, I was able to visit other cities. Riccardo and Andrea are very kind. However, the volunteers' rooms were very cramped and basic, and the supermarkets within walking distance had very few products.

Both Andreas and Ricardo are amazing g and all of the volunteers were super nice. The work was simple house cleaning, very little to do as the hostel was not busy (mid season). The location is ok and the hostel has an incredible view for sunset but not much else going on.

The experience at the hostel was pretty nice. The place is quiet and chill, the hosts are very kind, and I had a great time with the other volunteers. The work is totally fine, even if you have a full time remote job like I do.
