My stay here was/ is amazing! I enjoyed it so much, that I already extended my stay here twice! The whole team here is so nice, friendly and helpful. They really care about all the animals and give them a great life. It is hard work, but it is so rewarding to see the animals living their best life and causing mischief. Cuddling with the pigs has definitely been a highlight as well! I can only recommend this place if you love animals and aren't afraid of a little hard work

I had a lovely time at the pig the shelter! The work was great, the piggies so cute and I learned a lot. The facilities are not the best, but that was clearly communicated before.

Highly recommended for those who are a hardworking & dont mind getting dirty, you will have a blast volunteering here & gain tons of experience if you put in the effort. The feeling of accomplishment you get at the end of the day is unlike any other. You will have good days, you will have bad days, but to me, this place gave me a purpose. Now whenever I see a pig I feel right at home.

Being at this the shelter absolutely changed my life. The community here is absolutely incredible! It brings in all of the best people from all around the world! After vagabonding for months around Europe, this place truly felt like home. It's a wonderfully accepting community with kind and complex animals. I am so grateful to have built so many beautiful relationships with the pigs and people, and finally feel confident enough in my cooking and nutritional knowledge to pursue veganism as a lifelong pursuit! The work is hard but rewarding. I can't wait to return! All I can say is thank you.

Working with pigs is great. There is a lot to learn and it can be hard physical work. Living conditions are not the most comfortable, so make sure you are ready to accept that. Everything you need to know about living in the farm is communicated clearly when you apply. There are several volunteers living in the farm, so differences are likely to arise. Be respectful, mindful, and have an open mind to communicate with others. It is a lovely place.

My experience at the farm was good, and I enjoyed working with the animals there. I was also able to learn about the shelter care. There are volunteers from other nationalities in the farm, which makes the experience very intresting and fun, but sometimes challenging. If you are not the shelter it can take you some time to adapt to the farm, but it's an intresting, new experience, and you can learn a lot from it. I will always remember the farm since it was fun, and I learned a lot from it

Everyone here just feels like family and the piggies and all the other animals are just spreading so much joy:) Thank you to everyone in the Core team and kn the farm for making me feel so included. Sometimes the work gets exhausting, but just building and growing the relationship with the animals is so rewarding and I love spending time with all of them. So thank you for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to care for my piggies and hopefully I can continue staying for a long time❤️

Thank you for the experience of a lifetime! This place is beyound amazing, and I would reccomend it to anyone interested in helping animals, connecting with other travelers and learning everyday. The work can be hard, but you always have the team to help you out. Creating bonds with the animals and getting to know their unique personalities makes it all worth it. The community between the volunteers is filled with love, and made me feel so at home. I will defenitely come back as soon as I can!

I am so grateful for my time at the sanctuary! Though I couldn't stay the full month due to illness, the kindness and support I received during that time meant the world to me. Everyone at the farm made me feel welcome, and I loved the sense of community they've created. Thank you all for everything! I truly hope to return one day and have the chance to contribute to the beautiful work you're doing!
