After a long and exhausting day of travel, I could not have asked for more than the hospitality with which Anne and Peter had welcomed me into their home. Having never travelled beyond North America—or for a solo trip—I was truly fortunate to encounter such a wonderful land and community, both of which left me speechless with something special and profound each day of my stay. I wish to return to Dachsmühle very soon, for my visit was, as I have said countless times, “zu kurz und zu schnell.” Alles war so süß wie ein Zwetschgenkuchen. The work is honest, and the land is liberating.
