I have no words to describe my time atthe the thethethe guest house househousehouse — every day was a gift filled with love, peace, and genuine connection. My deepest gratitude to Walid for his kindness, friendship, and constant support. At the thethethe guest house househousehousethere's no line between guests and hosts — we're one big family. Zara is pure love, an inspiring woman, mother, and the best cook ever. Ibrahim is the most caring and respectful host, and Mubarak brings joy and light to everyone. The kids — Hanna, Aladin, and Tarha — are true blessings. This family was a beautiful gift from Allah in my life. ❤️ Inshallah, see you againthe the thethethe guest house househousehouse.

I recommend this volunteering to everyone that wants to have a real Morocco experience. We lived Magreb the fullest, I've never had a cultural immersion such as this one. I recommend all the female travelers to volunteer inthe the thethethe guest house househousehouse, we felt very welcomed by Walid, his family and friends. I'm looking forward to meet them again. I really had a wonderful time with them. Shukran 🫶🏻🫀

Daar Tuda was incredible. Walid is an incredible host who treated us like guests or even better than that, like family. Actually his whole family is incredible and lovely. Spending time in this experience was a FULL CULTURAL IMMERSION. They were so welcoming and also very proud of their culture and traditions, and were patient and nice enough to always explain and show us around. We shared incredible traditional meals made by Walid's mom, we toured a lot with him and his amazing friend Mubarak. Hopefully we contributed by leaving our touch in the place by painting the stairs. the thethethe guest house househousehouse 💖

The experience is very enriching, they are all wonderful and cheerful people, very open to teach you about their culture and learn from yours, I highly recommend this volunteering mainly for those who seek to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

This was the best worldpackers experience I've ever had. I had applied to only stay for 1 week but I ended up staying longer. Da the guest houseis a beautiful family run hostel with such positive, peaceful vibes. Their family made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived like I was part of their family. Their kindness and generosity has really touched my heart. We shared many laughs and meals together. Walid often went out of his way to help and get to know me, he was great company and I really appreciated his friendship. I will miss this place and the people very much.

Communication was handled poorly and volunteers didn't know what to do. Basic needs that were said to be provided were missing: no toilet paper, hot showers, clean bed & sheets, laundry, WiFi or reliable meals. Sometimes we received nothing to eat or leftovers from guests' plates. There was an unwelcoming atmosphere with friends of the family saying we had spoiled expectations and didn't work enough. You also need more time to feel accepted by everyone. Although the family was very friendly and the children warm your heart, the stay was very different from what was described.

Thank you for your feedback, Tina. We are sorry your stay didn’t match your expectations. Your role was to spend time with the children and create activities, but this part of the exchange was not fulfilled.

Toilet paper was available in the storage room, laundry is done by my mother, and meals are provided as part of a mutual exchange — helping and receiving.

We always try to offer a welcoming environment and wish you all the best in your future volunteering experiences.

The experience is good and offers a true immersion in the marrocan culture. I would recommend if you are interested in that, but is def not what is written on worldpackers. The volunteering is helping around, no hours, no specific tasks, just seeing something and helping (so you are kinda expected to be there at all times paying attention). I was really looking forward to learning more about sustainability, so I was confused when I got there and people told me that I should take care of the kids and wash dishes. If you don't mind that, then is a good place for you :)

Thank you, Helena, for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the cultural immersion, From the first day, we explained that volunteering here is flexible: you help where you can cleaning, small tasks, painting, decorations, sharing ideas, or using any personal skills you have. We don’t give strict schedules because we want volunteers to feel free, creative, and part of the family, not like robots following a list. wish you all the best in your future travel
