My time volunteering at was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. While the atmosphere was lively and fun for guests, I struggled with feeling disconnected from the team. The manager's apparent disinterest in me made it difficult to understand my role fully. More clarity and support from management would have greatly improved my experience. I hope the organization can improve communication and support for future volunteers.

Although we were excited to welcome you into our family, there was a collective disappointment when we realized that there may have been a lack of transparency in your interaction with us as well. Additionally, there was a collective feeling that we needed to prove our worth to you, rather than feeling mutually embraced. We strive to treat everyone equally and create a supportive environment for all volunteers, as has been the case with everyone up until this moment. We aim to uphold honesty and openness in our communication with all volunteers, as it's essential for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone involved.

Pasar dos semanas en Leon fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora! el hostel está muy bien ubicado, la comida es abundante y rica, el trabajo es variado y motivante. ¡Nunu como anfitriona te recibirá muy bien! Si tienes la suerte de tener un buen grupo de voluntarios seguro la experiencia sera infinitas veces mejor. Particularmente la gente que trabaja en el hostel se lleva un pedazo de mi corazon 🧡

Me hicieron sentir muy bien siempre están al tanto de lo que los voluntarios necesitan y si buscas muchas actividades divertidas a realizar es el lugar ideal

My stay at the hostel was wonderful. The staff and other volunteers made it even more enjoyable. The work was really fun. The schedule varies every day, making the days much more diverse. There is an organized event every day, and at least once a week, we go to the beach, which is only 20 minutes away. I am grateful to the entire staff and the other volunteers for the wonderful memories.

Tuve una experiencia maravillosa en el hostel, conocí gente muy linda, ahora nuevos amigos para la vida. Los anfitriones fueron espléndidos, me sentí como en casa, todo el tiempo hubo una excelente comunicación, guía y apoyo de su parte, es lugar es genial y la vivencia en el hostal fue estupenda, la comida siempre buena, la gente del lugar muy amable y hospitalaria, pude practicar mi inglés todo el tiempo y los días se pasaron muy rápido de lo bien que la pasé. Adoré la experiencia y volvería siempre. Ya no me quería ir.😊

Llegué sin saber que esperar del hostel y la verdad es que me la pase muy chido, fue una sorpresa buenísima. Los voluntarios y todo el equipo fueron como una familia, los extraño demasiado. Es un party hostel, entonces lo recomiendo a todos los que les guste mucho la fiesta, pero lo más memorable a mi fue llegar a Nicaragua y el día siguiente subir el Cerro Negro y hacer el volcano boarding, es una experiencia muy hermosa, en un lugar mágico y que por suerte yo lo hice con la compañía de personas increíbles. León también es una ciudad hermosa, guardo todos los recuerdos de allá con mucho amor.

My time at the hostel was one of the funniest and craziest experiences of my life. You get so close to the other volunteers; it almost feels like a family. At the hostel we party every day, which, admittedly, can be quite exhausting over time. The shifts we had were mostly chill and fun, for example, volcano boarding is one of them. It can be a chaotic sometimes, requiring creativity to handle situations without clear instructions.All in all, I'm so glad I came here. It was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

So my time in the hostel was good in general aspects, they give you good food, and the volunteers room is good (although I lost some of my stuff :( ) th volcano boarding is amazing and they make sure you go in your first days, it is a party hostel so if you are not used to sleeping late continuously and being active at night I do not recommend it to you because it is quite demanding in that aspect, the schedules were not that organized but in the last days of my stay a new manager came in and she improved the organization those last days ☺️

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel, especially because of the ability to go on lots of volcano tours and because of the option to stay for free at a partner hostel in las penitas (beach) on your days off. I also loved the 'family' vibe the hostel has and like that it's owned/run by local people. However I will say that the volunteer program is quite badly organised. The work was fun and easy once you know what you're doing but what needs to be done isn't always communicated clearly. Overall, it's a fun place to be!
