My experience couldn't be better… I have this team as sisters and brothers from now and I am truly glad for everything! Roy and Aline are super nice and helpful. Sunny is the kindest dog in this world and the house feels like home. Struggling to say goodbye 🩵

Roy and Aline are the best hosts I could ever ask for. the hostel is an amazing place where you will feel very welcomed, they will try their best to make you feel part of the family. The time I spent at the hostel was so much fun! I connected with the team and we had many experiences, from days at the beach to nigh out together, everything you can expect from a summer month. The hours worked are respected and the shifts between working and free days are great for making the most of your days off and getting to know more of the Algarve. Sunny completes the days and is the cutest dog ever. Thank you OTH team for everything! I recommend this experience!

This was my second volunteer experience and it exceeded all my expectations. The hosts are wonderful, Aline and Roy made me feel at home and part of the family. Also the mascot of the hostel, Sunny, is the cutest and smartest dog in the world, I wanted to take him to my home haha. The work is very quiet, we had a lot of free time to explore the beaches of Albufeira and the hostel is in a great location, just 5 minutes from the nearest beach. If you are looking for a place to make friends, learn a lot, travel and practice languages, this is the perfect place. I will miss the OTH 2022 family!<3

The hostel experience could not have been better. The hosts are amazing, they made us feel like part of the family, being very welcoming, they are always with our team working together. The tasks, schedules, flexibility were all respected. The location of the hostel is wonderful, less than 10 minutes walking to the beach, and there is everything you need (markets, pharmacies, restaurants and etc). My fiancée and I would 100% recommend this place, regardless if you are traveling alone or you are traveling with a couple or a friend this is a good opportunity.

OTH was my first volunteer experience and it was perfect. I am very grateful for the opportunity, I met some incredible people and amazing places. The hostel location couldn't be better, the facilities are great and everything we talked about is fulfilled, they gave you everything you need. I did the nightshift and it was a really chill shift, you work 2 days and you have 2 days off, you have a lot of time to get to know the city and you can go to the hostel tours too (I loved the sunset tour). Thank you very much, Aline, Roy & Sunny for everything!

It was my first volunteer experience and I absolutely loved it! Roy and Aline are very welcoming, they really make you feel like you are part of his team. I learned a lot about check-ins and check-outs, how to manage a bar, and the cleaning system. It was amazing being part of a very lovely atmosphere where everyone helps everyone. I'm very thankful for my time at the hostel! <3

My heart and soul is full of love after this experience. I can't express how greatful I am to Roy and Aline for making me a part of the oth family. Truly a pure hearted place, with amazing people both staff and guests. Work assignments and shifts felt more like amusement when I got to to it with such amazing people. We all contributet to a good athmosphere, and everyone stepped up to help when needed. Also a great place to share your culture and learn of others. The hostel is very comfortable and felt like home the second I got there. Thank you🧡

This was my best volunteering experience, the hosts are so friendly and the hostel atmosphere is perfect. I learned a lot about night shift and reception and of course made very friends. I would definitely recommend this opportunity to everyone.

I couldn't have a better first Worldpackers experience! Part of my heart is now is in this hostel. I worked on the night shift, from 00h to 08h 2 days in and 2 days off. (Night shift always have the best stories 😂) Great balance! Aline and Roy are a gift. They make you feel at home. They guide all staff on our activities and also always hang out with us on the hostel, with Aline's amazing food and game nights. On our free time we can visit the most amazing beaches EVER! And the hosts often take us to some hidden gems of Algarve. Sunny, their dog, is the soul of this hostel. I'll miss them 💛
