Tha place is amazing, Mr. Shin and his family are fantastic! Since I went in the middle of the rainy season, it rained a lot so unfortunately I couldn't help much (especially not as much as I would have loved!) but in return I had a lot of time to connect with nature, learn about myself or to think. Thank you everything and I'm sorry I wasn't much help!

Mr Shin and his family are so kind and welcoming and the farm is one of the beautiful places I have ever seen! I really enjoyed doing the tasks Mr Shin gave me and we even usually did them together, listened to music and got to know each other. I am so grateful I got to the opportunity to stay here!

Shin's farm is located high up in the mountains, about a two-hour drive from Chiang Mai. It's an incredibly beautiful place. However, the mountain roads are winding and rough, so the best way to get there is by riding a motorbike Shin, his family, and the people in the village are all very kind and welcoming. The school teachers were very supportive and helpful. The children are absolutely lovely and quick learners. We played games, danced, and painted together — it was a wonderful experience. I felt immersed in the local culture and lived like a local.

Staying at the farm was a warm and life changing experience. I lived close to nature, planting, cooking, painting, and doing simple, meaningful tasks. The host family is incredibly kind and treats you like one of their own. The peaceful atmosphere is perfect for anyone seeking to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. This place reminded me that humans are part of nature, not separate from it. No luxury, just genuine care and heartfelt simplicity, perfect for those who value small, beautiful moments.

What an amazing and wonderful experience. This is the best view I have seen in a long time. Mr. Shin is friendly and helps you with everything you need. The room is private and has an excellent view. The village is small but there are small shops that have everything you need. A place to relax away from the noise of cities and the fast pace of life. Thank you Mr. Shin for everything.

Mr Shin and his family welcomed us into their home. The farm has the most incredible views. The family provided the most amazing meals and there was plenty of food. Mr Shin has close connections with the school and we enjoyed every minute that we got to teach there. Mr Shin immersed us in the Hmong culture and we learnt so much. This was truely a wonderful experience that we will never forget. We hope to return again to see the progress of the many projects Shin has dedicated himself to. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough. We wish Shin and his family the very best.

From the very first second, I was welcomed by the whole family. Mr. Shin is a lovely person with a beautiful family. The location of the farm is breathtaking – quiet, remote, and full of soul. The village felt truly special, like it had its own spirit. I learned a lot about the local life and the farm. Since the school was closed, I helped out – painting, harvesting radish, and contributing through photography and social media. As a photographer, it was a rare and meaningful opportunity. I loved my experience – and I can't wait to come back.
