Al and Lucy are amazing people, really welcoming and appreciative of the help. I got to know both of them and there kids having enjoy a couple of meals with them. The place is really nice, and you really get to enjoy nature. Most of the tasks involved require you to be open to interact with nature like feeding the chicken, planting veggies,clearing the polytunnels,amongst others. I also got to explore some towns in my free time, they have bikes available for use and from Newcastle Emlyn there are buses going to multiple towns. It was really an experience I'll never forget amazing two weeks

Everyone was really friendly. They always organised activities which involved everyone. The host would ask me regularly about how I slept and if I needed anything. There were some days in which we had lunch or dinner together. I made great memories and met lots of people. It's an experience I won't forget for sure!

It was amazing — I had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people. The place itself is very peaceful, perfect for anyone who enjoys nature! The beach is about 15 minutes away, and there's always something to do around here, so you never get bored. Lucy and El are very kind people, and their children are also really welcoming. I'll come back whenever I can. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality!!!

Lucy and Al are very nice hosts who truly care for their volunteers and are deeply appreciative of our help. My boyfriend and I spent 2 weeks at the farm in September, helping with chickens, apple juicing, and preparing polytunnels for winter crops. We also enjoyed exploring the coast during our time off. The living space was more rustic than expected; the barn and bathroom could use a deep cleaning and some repairs. Perhaps future volunteers would be interested in sprucing the place up a bit. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we're grateful to Al and Lucy for the opportunity.
