Help with Housekeeping/Cooking at Magical lighthouse in Norway🏞️

I had the most amazing 3 weeks living at the hotel. My host Anna-Gry was more than accommodating and really made this my favorite volunteer experience thus far. I was welcomed the moment I arrived and made to feel like apart of a family. The work was very easy and manageable and I had plenty of free time to explore the surrounding area and even took a trip to the Lofoten Islands. The lighthouse and island itself are breathtaking, it felt like something out of a dream. I would be back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for such a unique and memorable experience. I really hope we meet again❤️

It was such a pleasure to have Sallyann at Tranøy Lighthouse, very easy to along with , it felt like we were a good mix of friends/dauther/mother. Sallyann did a good job and she was also offering her help for many differents tasks; cleaning rooms, dishwash, taking pictures and videos, bartender and she had a swim with me in the sea:) I wish her all the luck and really hope to she her again , either at the lighthouse og in Ireland<3

Had a beautiful time at the hotel and would highly recommend this experience! I did a mix of housekeeping and restaurant work with clearly set hours. In my free time, I was able to explore the stunning surrounding coastline with views of the mountains and fjord that feel straight out of a postcard! Anne-Gry and the team were all warm and welcoming. Couldn't ask for a better way to experience Northern Norway's landscape and culture!

My experience at the hotel truly was one of a kind. The place is a magical site, surrounded by the best nature has to offer. It is the perfect environment for people who are looking to disconnect from cities. 🌲 I had the chance to meet incredible people at the lighthouse and Anne-Gry is a kind, giving and carring women. She gives life to the space and anyone would be blessed to meet her 🫶🏻 The work was varied, fair and has discussed. It gives plenty of time to relax and visit the surrounding area. It is a little piece of paradise on earth. ✨️🏔 Thank you once again Anna-Gry 💛

Where should I start? This was my first volunteering experience and I'm glad I was part of the hotel! The place is breathtaking and the landscape is just one out of a picturesque postcard so magical. I spent a couple of days alone in the lighthouse (Anne lives about 15 minutes from it ) and what a great memories made there. But it's not just the place the heart of that place are the people I met there, so kind and curious and respectful. I have to say thank you Anne-Gry you made me feel at home and you are a wonderful host and great human being. Don't forget about Mexico and me 😊

How can I describe my stay in the lighthouse? I can't, you have to go haha. This place is wonderful and magical, especially because of the people you will meet there. The tasks are easy and well managed and you have plenty of time to explore the nature or just rest ! You could be alone in the lighthouse but because it's cosy and calm you will feel very comfortable. Thanks again Anne-Gry, I will come back :)

It was an amazing experience staying at the hotel - but the one who made our whole experience even more impactful was Anne-Gry! She is an amazing human being as well as host, one who always looked out for others, both guests and us. She is warm, funny, thoughtful and just great at managing the place and making people feel welcome, seen and at home. We would love to return, just to visit Anne-Gry! All the best recommendations from here.

Staying with Anne-Gry at the hotel Lighthouse was the most unique and amazing experience. I could not have imagined a better way to spend January! The work is great and we had lots of fun with the other workers at the lighthouse. Anne-Gry is such a warm and welcoming person, who instantly make you feel at home! Miss everything about this place:)
