Never do this volunteering! I've just finished my time with Andrea and his team, and I can only warn you: you'll arrive as a stranger and leave with tears in your eyes. You'll share a simple flat with strangers who quickly become family. Days are sun, laughter, and kitesurfing (which you'll hate at first, then love). Nights are stories you'll never forget. It's not just volunteering, it's adapting, learning, and falling in love with Sicily and the people who make it magic. Thank you Andrea, see you soon (maybe Brazil 🇧🇷🎉). Amoni!!!

This job is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking to learn kitesurfing, interact with the local team daily, and practice Italian. The community here is welcoming, kind, and helpful. Every day you get to hang out at the beach and assist customers with their kites. I will cherish the memories and community at the host, hoping to come back again!

This was an amazing experience Andrea is a legend of a host and the community he's made are awesome. I was lucky enough to be there with some good wind so I was able to do my lessons before and after my shifts then eventually get to the point of working on tricks. If you're wanting to get stuck in to the kite life for a while I can't recommend this place enough, just be prepared that if you live with great volunteers and fall in love with the sport like me, you're gonna have a hard time leaving. 🤙

Esta experiencia ha sido una de las más especiales en mi vida. Un paraíso natural, historico y cultural. El trabajo está bien establecido, las tareas claramente explicadas y en general sencillas; el horario de trabajo es respetado. Andrea es una persona noble y se preocupa porqué la estadía sea agradable, su esposa es muy atenta y estan siempre a disposición. El equipo de trabajo de la escuela es increíble. El apartamento es comodo y equipado con lo esencial, ubicado cerca de puntos estrategicos. Recomiendo absolutamente este lugar especiamente si tienes afinidad por este tipo de esportes

My stay here was amazing, Andrea and the staff, environment, and everything from meeting the best people/getting to learn new skills. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be a in a great local town and and be around a very unique community. While I was here the work hours were always respected and the information was clear and taught well through the beginning. You will also have the chance to get lessons for kite surfing through your experience and have a great time doing it. I have already booked my return date because of the amazing opportunity this was. Can't wait to be back!!!

I had a wonderful experience at the host. The hours were always respected (4h a day for 6 days), just expect to be flexible as the shifts will depend on the wind. The tasks were pretty easy and you will always receive help when needed. Andrea, Alice and the team were amazing and I will remember this experience with so much love <3 . Please note that the place is not in Center Marsala, so this is great to disconnect if you want or have medium interaction with people doing kite. There are some bars close to the lagoon and it's beautiful to hang out in the afternoons.

Had a really good experience overall! The work was fairly easy, and the hours were respected. I had to take a few days off and Andrea was flexible and understanding, which I appreciated a lot. The staff at the spot were nice and friendly. It's a really great place to meet kind, interesting people from all over the world. The location is beautiful, right by the sea. The sunsets are amazing and you can watch them from some cool bars nearby. I enjoyed my time there. The flat could use a bit of care, but Andrea was open to feedback and seems willing to improve things.

I felt a worker, cosify, and treated with no patience. The work is tricky and dangerous for both parts coz you can broke the kite or you can cut yourself with it. The house is literally falling apart, the 3 bikes too. Andrea has poor communication skills and flexibility. I left the place crying.He said to me "he lost a month with me" Carlos said "maybe Andrea don't like you bcz you're too beautiful", they didn't even teach me how to kite. I was taking distance from them bcz he was verbally violent and threatened me twice, I have the txts. I would felt sorry about everyone going this place.

I am patient, flexible and helpful. Never violent and threatening! I picked you up at the airport and took you to the supermarket 15 km away, the closest one is 200 meters away. The bike was in perfect condition, If you broke the pedal you could have told me and I would have repaired it, but you don't communicate! The other volunteers and staff, when you left, said: finally (reflect)! Volunteering doesn't mean taking a free vacation, but making an exchange! Beautiful or ugly, but To help.
