The Hangover Hostel Party Rep Volunteer Program is designed to give adventurous and sociable travelers a unique experience where work meets fun in the heart of a bustling hostel environment. Here’s a detailed look at how our program works:

Role and Responsibilities

As a Party Rep, you’ll be the social engine of the hostel, organizing and hosting events that help our guests connect and have a memorable stay. Key activities include:
• Event Planning: Create, plan, and host events like pub crawls, Karaoke nights, themed parties, and day tours.
• Guest Engagement: Engage guests upon arrival, introduce them to hostel activities, and encourage participation in events.
• Promotion: Keep guests informed of event schedules through signage, social media, and friendly invites.
• Safety and Enjoyment: Monitor events, ensure everyone is having fun responsibly, and provide local tips.



Atividades & Turnos

Time Commitment
• Working Hours: As a Party Rep, you’ll contribute around 20-25 hours per week, mostly in the evenings when social activities take place.
• Flexible Schedule: While specific events are planned, you’ll have flexibility in your schedule to explore, relax by the beach or do a day trip waterfall chasing with other guests and local staffs.

Duration and Extensions
• Minimum Stay: We typically ask for a commitment of 2-4 weeks to give you a chance to settle in and get to know the guests.
• Extension Opportunities: If you’re a great fit and interested, we may offer extensions based on hostel needs, performance and your availability.

Regras

• Onboarding: We’ll start with an introduction to the hostel, a rundown of local spots, and a training session on event management and guest engagement.
• Support from Staff: You’ll work closely with the hostel team, who will provide ongoing support, guidance, and help with any challenges.
• Feedback and Growth: We value your ideas! Provide feedback to improve our events and guest experience, and bring your creativity to the role.
• Personality and Enthusiasm: We’re looking for friendly, outgoing individuals who genuinely enjoy socializing and meeting new people.
• Age and Language: 18+ and conversational English are required. Any additional languages are a plus.
• Adaptability: The hostel environment can be lively and varied, so flexibility is key!
